Dear community members,

Mr. Chintamani Yogi, a well-known educationist, social worker, philosopher, and a scholar in Hindu religion and philosophy, is coming to the US for a 6-week tour starting in January. He is holding spiritual awakenings, yoga and meditation programs, and Hindu philosophy programs in New York/New Jersey (Jan 11-18), Massachusetts (Jan 19-21), Vermont (Jan 21-24), Washington DC (Jan 25-Feb 1), North Carolina (Feb 2-4), Georgia (Feb 5-10), Texas (Feb 11-14), California (TBD) and Hawaii (TBD).

About Chintamani Yogi:
Mr. Yogi is the founder and principal of Hindu Vidya Peeth-Nepal, a not-for-profit school that focuses on educating children from financially challenged families. The three HVP schools stand apart from other private and public schools in their vision and objectives. By imparting moral and spiritual values, these schools aspire to create nation builders for the new millennium and go beyond the near-mechanized process of churning out literate 16-year olds.

Mr. Yogi is a seasoned teacher of yoga and mediation and holds diplomas in Yoga Education and Yogic Therapy. Mr. Yogi also has a B.Ed in Nepali Language and an M.A. in Philosophy (Sanskrit).

Mr. Yogi has received several awards including, National Sanskrit Glory Youth Honor (by Kabiratna Krishna Prasad Ghimire Smriti Pratisthan), Senior Educationist and Social Worker Award (by National Development and Honor Centre-Nepal), Basudev Dhakal Goraksha Nath Puraskar (by Mahendra Sanskrit University) and many more.

Mr. Yogi has also authored several books including, Gyan Prahelica, Stuti Sangraha, Hamro Vani Hamro Geet, Aham Pathami Sanskritam (Sanskrit), Hindu Dharma-Ek Chintan, Bal Leela, Isha Van, Chinta Ra Chintan, Dharm Ganga, Chintan Ka Saral Sutraharu, and Myanma Ko Maya.
