Nepali Artists in Nation Building - Interaction with MaHa
Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya need no introduction. They are the longest-running comedy pair and the most decorated artistes in Nepal. The comedy-duo have created more than 30 theatrical shows including "Bigyapan", the record breaking drama in Nepal, and have numerous TV programmes, radio programmes and movies to their credit.
The MaHa pair have also been extensively involved in social work such as Tilganga Eye Hospital (Founder Board Member), Spinal Injury Organization in Jorpati (Co-founder) and Kathmandu Model Hospital (Chairman and Vice-President). Most recently, they are the founders of Democratic People's Movement Health Relief Fund 2006.
