'Nepali Night: Culture, Cuisine and Silent Art/Handicrafts Auction'. will be held at 4:30pm on Sunday the 26th at Minnesota State University Moorhead, Comstock Memorial University Ballroom.
There will be dances, live music performances, skit, a short film about Nepali students' issues in Nepal, ethnic Nepali dinner, and of course, the art and handicraft auction.
The purpose of 'Nepali Night' is to showcase a glimpse of Nepali culture and food, and to raise enough money to install solar electricity in all the 50 homes in Chuga gaon in Mugu district of Nepal. All the inhabitants of Chuga are low-income people the low castes in the Hindu caste system.
