Invitation of INLS DC Metro Chapter
International Nepali Literary Society (INLS) DC Metro chapter is going to celebrate the 93rd birthday of Yugakavi (Epoch-making poets) Lt. Sidhhi Charan Shrestha on May 23, 2004 in George Mason University, Johnson Center. The program will include items like poetry competition, symphony in some of his selected poems as wll as speeches on his literary contribution by well known speakers. INLS DC Chapter humbly requests all community members to pay tribute to the Yugakavi by participating in this function and make it a great success.
The Chapter also requests all interested poets to submit their poems by May 16, 2004. The four best poems will be awarded with cash prize. Please let us know whether your poem is for competition or not. In the absence of this notification, the poems will be automatically included in competition.
