In the meantime, the burning petroleum that spilled inside the ambulance burnt me. Had it exploded inside…….” -as recounted by Bimal Mr. Bimal Chuke was severely burned in a petrol bomb attack in Butwal in 1999. He was on his way, in a hired ambulance, to pick up a seriously ill relative. He never made it to her and she died. He has had twenty operations already and is still disfigured. He has come to the US for further diagnosis/treatment at Johns Hopkins, Baltimore. Bimal would like to recount the incidence and the context under which it happened. We also hope to begin raising funds for his treatment. Bimal is currently staying with Laurie Vasily.
