Dear NOA Members and well wishers:

On behalf of the Executive Committee of NOA, I am writing this notice to inform all NOA Members as well as the greater Newah community of the upcoming NOA election. The 3-year term of the current Executive Committee is coming to an end as of May 24, 2014. We have enjoyed serving NOA and look forward to supporting a new team.

The Executive Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of NOA’s 5-person Election Commission: Chairman Mr. Hariman Shrestha, Vice Chairman Balaram Joshi, Member Mr. Ganesh Kayastha, Member Dr. Maheswor Baidya, and Member Mr. Ratna Kaji Shakya. We thank these outstanding members for their service and know they will work closely together to oversee a full and fair election.

The new NOA Executive Committee term runs from May 2014 to May 2017. We encourage all interested individuals to consider getting involved and submitting their candidacy. NOA is strong because of the dedicated work of many volunteers and community members.
