Dear DC Metro Nepalese Community Members,
Nepalese American Public Affairs Council (NAPAC: http://www.napac-us.org) and International Nepali Literary Society, DC (INLS: http://www.inls.org) would like to cordially invite you to a DC Metro community meeting to discuss Non-Resident Nepali (NRN: http://www.nrn.org.np/definition.html ) issues.
As you are aware, there is a First Non-Resident Nepali Special Conference (http://www.nrn.org.np) being organized in Nepal from October 11-14, 2003. President of NAPAC, Dr. Shyam Karki is leading the North American delegation as chartered by Nepalese Americas Council (http://www.nepalcouncil.org). He has been traveling throughout the US to meet with Nepalese community and discuss NRN issues. He is visiting DC area to meet with DC Metro community next week.

International Nepali Literary Society, Washington DC has extended its full support to NRN conference and is currently promoting it via its chapters and representative in the various states of USA and other countries. Our Special Issue on Non-Resident Nepalis of INSIGHT magazine will be published in October 2003. The magazine will be distributed at the NRN conference in Nepal, USA and other countries.
