A short biography of  Acharya Khemraj Keshavsharan Maharaj Ji :

 

Santashiromani His Spiritual Grace Acharya Khemraj Keshavasharan Devaji Maharaj has been carrying the auspicious mission of Sanatan Dharma throughout the world. Till date, Maharaja Ji has established three spiritual institutions. Apart from being an expert preacher, respected Acharyaji is also a famous writer in the spiritual field having published 42 different books. His missionary activities has taken him to countries of Asia, Europe, and Americas and has participated in various international conferences related to Eastern Culture, Sanskrit and Hindu philosophy. Wherever he speaks, his audiences are deeply attracted and enlightened by his eloquence and devotion.

 

Throughout his life, Acharyaji has been fully active in all aspects of spiritual, educational and socio-welfare activities, both locally and internationally. He has also been preaching on Radio Nepal every Saturday for the past 35 yrs and twice weekly on TV for 21 yrs. However, in 1995, Maharajaji took the decision to move into Vanaprastha (retired) order of life, fully devoting his energies to the lord’s missionary service despite the fact that a period of 7 yrs was still left before mandatory retirement from the university.

 

Since then, he has been receiving continuous invitations from all corners of the world by eager devotees, anxious to hear Maharajaji’s nectar-like Bhagavata kathas and Ram kathas. Always believing that when such invitations come, it is the spiritual duty of a Vaishnava to spread the glories of the Lord in the form of Shrimad Bhagavatam, Shrimad Bhagavadgeeta and devotion to Lord Shree Krishna, he comes closer to his devotees.

 

Also an ardent crusader against madya ( alcohol ) and mamsa ( meat ), his teachings of satwik living have been found to be very inspirational to all. In variation, when he speaks against madya and mamsa, we slowly begin to understand his philosophies where he very charismatically supports ahinsa.
