The NEWAH COMMUNITY OF BALTIMORE  is celebrating Nepal Sambat 1130! Nhu DanYa Bhintuna! Nava Barsa ko Suvkamana! Happy New Year!

Join us for a traditional Newah Samay Bajee. Come enjoy home-cooked delicious Newah food, get to know new friends, and have a good visit with your old friends.

All proceeds are being donated to Nahuda, a non-profit organization established in 1992 in Nepal to provide health care to women living in poverty, particularly in rural areas. Nahuda’s main goal is to improve women’s reproductive health by preventing cervical and breast cancer. We were able to make $ 1200.00 donations over the last three years after this event—that amount makes a big impact on the work Nahuda can do.

The admission fee is $15 per person; children under 10 years of age are free.
