ABOUT DOLMA SHERPA
Dolma

been languishing in the central jail in Kuwait
for the last seven months for allegedly murdering
a Filipino woman. Born in Gorkha district, Dolma
was married to Angtenzing Sherpa in Gumba, Sindhuplachowk.
Dolma
Sherpa was sentenced to death penalty by the
lower court. In January, Saudi Arabia based
Nepali mission said appealed against the verdict
in an appellate court of Kuwait. The appellate
court's postponed its hearing on the case from
March 16, 2008 by a month because a defense
lawyer had not been hired. The Government of
Nepal is now ready to hire a lawyer to argue
Dolma's case in Kuwaiti Court.
Sherpa Kyidug has opened a Bank Account to
raise funds to Save Dolma. Time is of the essence.
