Asha for Education New York/New Jersey chapter is proud to announce its
plans to host the fifth annual 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at
Riverside Park in New York City. We would like to invite you to be part
of this amazing event. Mark your calendar and join our efforts to raise
funds for the projects we support in India to help provide education to
the underprivileged.

Asha
for Education is an all-volunteer worldwide secular non-profit
organization that works to provide basic education to underprivileged
children in India. With 66 chapters world-wide, Asha supports over 380
projects across India. The NYC/NJ chapter currently supports 18
projects in various parts of India and organizes several fundraising
events in the area such as the 5K event which will directly benefit
such projects. As a zero overhead organization, 100% of net proceeds go
towards the education related projects for underprivileged children
across India.
