This Gala is a fundraiser for ATASK, a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to eliminate family violence and strengthen Asian families and communities.
The 14th annual Silk Road Gala is a fundraising benefit to aid ATASK’s emergency shelter and programs that serve, support and advocate for over 200 battered Asian families in New England annually. This year's Leadership in Advocacy Award will be presented to Swanee Hunt. The Mistress of Ceremonies is Janet Wu from the WCVB-TV, Channel 5.
