HAPPY DASHAIN AND TIHAR OF 2059!!
America Nepal Society (ANS) is holding it's 2nd
"Dashain-Tihar Mela (MELA)" to celebrate the great
Dashain-Tihar festival in greater Washington DC area.
ANS would like to invite all the families and friends
to join this big celebration and exchange your
greetings to friends and loved ones. ANS would also
like to encourage all the organizations and businesses
to put the stall, show up with your banners and
perform your talents in the MELA. This is the festival
time to express our love on Nepal and Nepali culture.
ANS is looking for volunteers for different activities
during the MELA. We, on behalf of ANS, kindly urge all
the organizations to provide some volunteers for
making this MELA a grand success. Please forward your
talents and volunteers list by 12th October 2002.
Please note that ANS will waive the entrance fee for
the volunteers and talents. Since the MELA is one of the
biggest events of ANS, we are also planning to update the
list of its members during the MELA. Thank you so
much and see you in the MELA.
