So one of my friend came to US last January on a DV. She wants to go to school but isnt able to financially support herself to go to a big schools. What did you guys ( people with green cards) do when you started. Also, are there any funding options besides FAFSA. I suggested her a technical degree in IT, but she is reluctant because she did her associates in UK in business, she says she wasted time by studying business. She is 24 and thinks she has only one chance left to do it right. 
So guys what are your views and suggestions?
