Hello All,

I am conducting a study on the Nepali/Tibetan/Bhutanese immigrant communities in the New York (Briarwood/Jackson Heights/ Forest Hills/ surrounding area) esp the ones who are here on asylum status or are in the process of getting permanent residence. This is for my own research paper and not doing this for any non-profit organization or anything. I want to know where they look for legal advices, how approachable the firms are, if they have access to proper counselling.

For this, I am need  the data on the new south asian immigrant community, where they are predominantly located, what resources do they refer to before they identify their legal advisors/law firms and such forth.

If anyone knows of any such organization that works with such communities, or might have relevant data- could you please help me? i will highly appreciate it.

thanks much in advance.
