Now, can I change my job? Will it hamper in my spouse's pending 485 case?

Please give some suggestion.

You can change the job 6 month after getting EAD.
But you already have your GC. There is no problem.

Yes you can change your job without hampering your wife's status. As a matter of fact you dont even have to have your I-1485 approved to change the job. The '180 days portability rule' allows you to change your job if your I-485 application has been pending with USCIS for 180 days or more.

BTW, are you through the name check already? Anyways, congratualtions on getting a GC !!

- Bhasmasur and himalayandude ji,

Thank you for your information.

It seems that my name did not go for name check becuase mine was relatively quicker. But it seems to me that my spouse's name was in name check hence it is taking time.

Good luck to get your GC quicker.
