Sayami,
Here is my recipe for dhedo.... (seriously)
Ingredients:
1. corn flour You can find that at your local grocery store.... Maybe GOYA brand corn flour.
2. butter
3. water

Procedure:
Put some butter in the pot and pour corn flour on it. sutee the four for about 3-5 mins and add water. 4 cups of water for 2 cups of flour.

lower the heat and stir. Keep on stirring for about next 20-30 minus until the four soaks all the water and the pot is dry. Make sure you keep on stirring. Otherwise dhedo doesn't turnout good.

Now make some saag ko jhol. (If you are in US, you can use Collard greens, which is readily available in stores or raayo ko saag from chinese store would be awesome)

Enjoy!!!!!

Yo murdar thopa ta ghaamat nai raichha, kahan restroom ko dhedo ko kuro garera PN Shahle dhedo khayera baliyo bhayeko re, dhettt, PN Shahle testo dhedo khayo holaa ta? patyaune kuro po garnu parchha.

For those, who are serious to try delicious dhedo, my suggestion is to follow PremCharo - > In addition, you can make it further tasty too.

You can try 1 cup of milk + 1 cup water instead of 2 cup of water, and add some starch, well mix it before mixing into the flour. You can add some masala for added flavor (like roasted cashew nut, sukmel, elaichi, cheeze powder, Okhar etc. depending on your favorite taste). Most of them should be added late, when they are almost done.

Saag ko jhol sita dhedo khane ho bhane saaglai alikati nunilo banaunu parchha, raato khursani padkayera jhannyo bhane jhan mitho hunchha.

you must be kidding. there is a huge difference. haluwa is loaded with sugar and ghee where else dhedo is made only with plain water and some ghee.

haluwa is dessert and dhedo is meal

silly you

Thopa thats not sayami's mistake coz ppl call dhedo too in my village. i don't know what the hell r u tryin to explain by comparing dhedo with shit. Must be that shit dhedo is only for u not for others. I grew up with dhedo, it is better than rice. It gives extra strength and power for longer period.

By the way we don't use ghee while we cook dhedo. You can eat dhedo with ghee specially dhedo from wheat flour.

First of, it can be called by dhido or dhedo. Both is correct.

Second, in the picture, she is not making dhedo. she is cooking kudo for bastu.

The recipe for dhido is,
boil water (amount: look Premcharo), put flour, little by little, in the boiling water while putting the heat down. stir is to make all the flour soaked by water. add more flour and stir till everything is soaked. when the mixture of flour and water as dense as when u make paratha roti, keep on stirring for a while. When you think the flour is cooked, serve it. If you want to put ghee in it, put it after you introduce some flour in the boiling water. if you put it later, ghee gets stuck in only some part of the dhido.

So, in this process, there is not any ingredient that looks red/orange like it does in the picture above. So, it cannot be dhido. But actually, its a kudo. In the villages, all the leftovers from the dinner and luch are collected to feed Gai/Bhaisi. In the hills, they usually heat the water with the leftover before feeding. And, if want to feed also the Bhussa and stuff, it is good to mix with the leftovers. Thats what she is doing in the picture.

Is not Dhedo made form millet (Kodo) flour?
Recipe: put some white painting around Bid Laden's hair and beard, ,then you get a Dhedu with AK-47.
