Hi, I hear there are concentrations of Nepalis in certain areas of London-I know by Ealing area there are always things happening. But I also hear there are other areas-like Plumstead-I went there but didn't see loads of Nepalis on the streets like my friend was telling me there was gonna be. So are there Nepali Tols-I would like to know. Any really good ones?

I was in London once; didnt meet any Nepali though [dekhna ta dui jana logne swasni Nepali ma guff gari raheko dekhya ho, tara ke disturb garai bho ra bhanera lusukka aafno bato lage ma ta]

Oh back to the original question............someone told me that there were lots of Nepalis in a place called Plumstead (hope i spelt that correctly). Nepali haru ko nai restaurant pani cha re.......momo pani payincha re (Rs. 30 plate) re bhanne samma sunya ho, dekhya chahi chaina. Tyaha kohi Nepali bhetema yas Jagaltaybhoot ko koti koti namaskar cha bhanidinu hola hai.

Didi and baini -end of day I am sister. As for momo pasal in Plumstead yes other people have said this but I doubt it's gonna be cheap. I never saw it myself. My friend went to restaurant in north london for veggie momo-it was ?4 a plate , one pound for each tiny momo. If you think that's bad I've been to other place where they give less than half of what Mechung Momo back home does, and it's ?9.00 plate!!! GEEEZ! Obviously they don't make business-ppl aren't that stupid to fall for that, or they quickly learn.

Back to tols-I'm just interested in the idea of tols in London because meeting Nepali dais, didis etc many seem to talk like that-like oh Ealing ko keta haru waiter matrai ho, Camden ko keta haru badmass-how did that happen? I've been to some places but didn't see anything like Nepali tol like you-often just one or two people. Or mebbe I dunno enough ppl. or am afraid because of the rumors you know, to meet ppl cos of reputations preceding them. I know there are loads of Nepalis in London, been to dasain party events like that-but are they just all scattered or in some concentrated area I just haven't visited?

more than 80% people in plumbstead are illegal or asylum seekers
i have met a lot of people in plumbstead who profess to be maoists (ran away from nepal because of state yatana!) - they are all working in sausage factories at night illegally-i have no sympathies at all.
