Hi Friends, I had one question regarding H1b stamping if someone had gone through same/similar situation or have any idea.I had come to US under B2 ( second visit on same visa) and since TPS had to be permitted at the same time I came , I applied for TPS before my B2 I94 expired. I had found job which would sponsor me H1b in 2/3 months but since TPS took about extra few long months to get approved , I had stayed in TPS pending application for about 10 months and changed the status to H1b after TPS was approved. I couldn't go to Nepal in between for H1b visa stamping because of tight schedule and didn't have reason to. I changed my employer last year and transfer of H1b was approved too and am currently in H1b with new employer. Now I have an emergency to go to Nepal and will require H1b stamping while coming back. I am aware that consulate service in Nepal is closed but hoping for it to open once things will start to normalize or might have to ask for emergency appointment. Has anyone in this group have experience of H1b stamping after a stint of being in TPS and knows whether it will adversely affect H1b stamping. I would appreciate a comment if someone had same/similar experience of H1b stamping or views regarding issue based on your knowledge. Thanks.
