Makes sense. All the brilliant Nepali guys I have met in US say they are from Bhaktapur. As the foundation was set by someone from there. Bhaktapur indeed maybe the most educated and culturally, economically rich town in the entire Nepal.

Adrian, with due respect to Engineer Padma Sundar Malla and people from Bhaktapur, I have stated my comments for all your points respectively. I would appreciate if you could elaborate with numbers for your following statements:
>At least one youth from every family in Bhaktapur is in US: Please let Sajhaites know why being in the US is important and what is the source of this information?
> All the brilliant Nepali guys I have met in US say they are from Bhaktapur: I presume everyone will say the same about their district. Do you have a figure?
> Bhaktapur indeed maybe the most educated and culturally, economically rich town in the entire Nepal: Most educated ? Doubtful. Culturally? Yes., Economically? Maybe....

@The Thamelean Chill and enjoy your Thamel nightlife. Sajha doesn’t need an elaboration. Your mind is your source of information and your keyboard is your mouth.

@adrian

Growing up in Katmandu, Bhaktapur was the relatively backward town in the valley, no offense.

As thamelian said, maybe culturally bhaktapur is in par with ktm and lalitpur. But education and other indicators are still behind comparatively.

Thank you Adrian. You proved that you don't have a figure to support your bragging.
Well said @ Shahi Baba.

I don’t belong from either of the places. I don’t care which is the best. As an outsider I think Bhaktapur is well managed and definitely showcases the true meaning of Nepal- Historic and Religious. In Patan, Kathmandu and Lalitpur these days all you see are typical Nepali village people migrated from four corners of the country. Nothing looks religious and historic except Red plaid shirt and choose pant that Nepali Village guys wear as a national dress.
