Hello and Namaste everyone,

I will be travelling outside USA in few weeks and I want to know if anyone of you have recently entered using their Advance Parole and if so how was the experience? On my return flight I have to go through Pre Clearance and not sure if i have to go through customs after I land in USA.

Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

Last year I travelled through Abu Dhabi preclearance and it was pretty smooth. I had to go through the secondry inspection Where a different paroled stamp was placed in my passport and AP documents. I hardly waited for 5 mins. After I landed here in US, I was like a domestic passenger.

Does AP document come In 1 or 2? Last time they provided two documents, but this time I have seen only one.

Thank you for sharing your experience and they only sent me one copy of my advance parole. I will make copies of it.

They only sent me one so lets hope they will stamp the original and keep the copy of that with them.

I had similar experience like @Gmajor last year. I received only 1 copy as well , but made multiple copies just in case, which I never needed. I was also sent to secondary inspection where the officer stamped in my parole document and passport , that's all. Entire process took around 5 minutes .
