 OPT Late case

Hello Everyone,

I applied opt on time but it's still in process. My classes ended on Aug 16th and chose my OPT start date the latest I could pick, Oct16th. It looks likes the USCIS is taking time to approve OPT. If they send me the OPT card in November and count my start date from Oct 16th then I will not get a full one year. What should I do :( :( .

Please suggest me!!

There is nothing u can do. Whatever they put in the card is written in stone. Nothing can b done

Whenever they approve your case- they will use that date- Example- If they approve your opt on November 20- your 1 year starts from Nov 20,18-Nov 19,19
