Anyone filled for EB2 NIW please share your suggestion. Anyone knows attorney in NYC metro area with a good expertise in EB2 NIW filling?
Do you think i should hire the lawyer they are asking a large sum but says we can't guarantee it's approval and the fees are non-refundable. Or is there any DIY kit to go for EB2 NIW and work on my own. I have to complete this within end of 2016. Please would like your valuable opinion.

I would suggest hiring professional lawyer for filing under EB2. It's a lengthy process that might take 1.5-2 years for getting GC and if you receive RFE during all these proces, that might even take longer. I do not recommend any specific lawyer, every company have their own lawyer. If not, Nepali lawyers are equally professional in EB2 case handling. And yes, lawyer fees are always high, no doubts. They charge based on each steps and nothing is refundable. On top of that, USCIS fees and medical fees need to be covered as well.

Please try wegreened.com for EB2-NIW. I was initially deterred by their high fee, but they have excellent service relative to what 10+ friends who filed through cheaper lawyers had to go through. They offer free evaluation, have absolutely no hidden charges, provide clear timeline and provide great customer service. The 'approve or refund' service particularly made it a great deal for me. I recently started the EB2-NIW process with them and I am extremely satisfied.

As neerman said, DIY is possible but only if your workload is nominal or have plenty of time to research and work on it. I did try DIY, and finally gave up and I am happy that I did not waste my time on DIY.
