hello kata kata pugyo?
I went for interview yesterday. Questions were very normal, all related to marriage history and daily activities. At the end officer did not tell us anything about whether it was approved or denied. She said she will contact us for further notice. I don't know what is that meant....confused, stress, panic,...

Hey bityo jiban,
I don't want to scare you but we had our interview yesterday and the immigration officer said that ours was approved at the end. She took the EAD card and I-94 and mentioned that we no longer need that since we are PR now. When I checked my status online, it changed to card production.

Congratulation Sahansi and thanks for sharing your experience.
I talked to my lawyer today and he said sometimes they require sometime to review applications and decision will be mailed later. My status has not been changed yet...still hoping for the best.

@deported and @hariyopatta:

If you check your USCIS status , it says that you can give them a call if its past 30 days in "Testing and Interview" phase. So, if its been more than 30 days than you should definitely give them a call.

Guys, we had our interview about a month ago. It was a very bad experience. The IO was very rude and just wasn't convinced. She ended the interview abruptly. She held our application for further review. We were very worried. After waiting for two weeks with no decision, we decided to call some lawyers. We then decided to send extra documents to prove our relationship (without being asked to). It was a BIG bundle. It included EVERYTHING. A week after they received the package, our application was approved. I -130 was approved later the same day. Also, surprisingly the green card we received does NOT expire in two years, which is nice. I was under the impression that we would get a 2-year conditional card. This is the end of the journey for us. Good luck guys!!

@kalikoketa : No we did not. And we are living in different states due to school (in case you are wondering the reason for the complicated interview)

Just got an update this morning.
My case is scheduled for interview and testing on Jan 27, 2014.
It nearly took 2 months to set up interview date after the status changed to testing and interview.

Anybody under f2a category who got interviewed and got green card, please share.
I heard few people got interviewed but hasn't got green card yet. My guess is its due to processing times on different field office.
