When I first saw the banned pictures Sayami posted, I thought San did good job. Then I saw the pictures posted by Nas, and Sayami's arguments, I felt San has to take out some of pictures posted by Nas too in order to match the standard of censorship. But, this thread went into the problem how to judge explicit and obscene pictures? And the huge problem is there.
We nepalese do have multiple standards. Our society does not allow to walk husband and wife hooked into their arm on street but they post sex-symbols on all temples. Our conservative society even hated exhibition of love before marriage but they keep singing songs of Radha Krishna's love story, pray Kamdev's erotic stories. With that mindset, we often fail to properly define and understand what is actually explicit and obscene contents. At least, I am confused on this matter.
With the change in time, our society is becoming more open and liberal. No body want to to cover up from neck to knee for a descent look up. Gays and lesbians are having their associations and free activities in public.
I have seen many geoscience figures (like the Tornado Warning picture posted by Sayami and similar others) before, but they were never seen as explicit content. But when the above picture of NOAA came here on this thread, I almost forgot to think of gradient, pressure, geographical boundaries and all science. The figure looked wild and explicit in this content but it will surely pass any kind of censorship in any corner of the world. So I reached into the conclusion

This topic is tethering on the edge of absurdity. San owns the site and he has put forth the rule that you can't post pictures showing private parts explicitly. I have enjoyed Nas's albums and have to admit that he is not showing any nipples explicitly unlike sayami's photos. If you cannot follow the rules then you have some serious issue pal. The more this discussion continues, the more sayami's true nature is showing up. At first I was wondering why sayami was banned too but now I think he has some serious problems.
