Something you miss!!

This thread is for something you miss!! Don’t mention someone you miss like oh my I miss my ex, she/he left me all alone or something. Cause you know we really don’t care about it!!
Mention some thing and I mean thing you miss and don’t mention something that’s obvious or that everyone here could miss!! It has to be something that you and only you could miss because of the details that’s involved in it!! :) okay?? :)
For example you can’t say oh I miss my mom’s cooking back home cause you I bet ya a lot of people living aboard miss that!! But you could say that I miss my mom’s tomato acchar cause she used to a little bit of fish soup in it!! :P does anyone even do that?? Well I hope you got the point ke!! :)
And also it could be like a brief moment in your life that something happened!! Or something that could never happen again but you miss it a lot!!

PS: I really want the silent readers in sajha to mention something, cause you know we all wanna know who you are!! :P :P

So here’s something I miss:
Okay last night I was thinking about what to have for dinner! And then I thought that I should boil noodles but then I realized that we were out of wai wai ke!! So, I was like hmm… you know what I miss I miss that day when I was outside my house in Nepal eating noodles and it was like those long long noodles ke!! And as I thought about it I think it was the feeling I got at that time that I missed more than the noodles cause you know it’s not like I’ve been deprived of noodles or anything. Haha!! The smell was like hmm…of cow’s like smell and it was like the feeling I got as I sat in front of my door around 5pm trying to scoop the long long noodles into my mouth ke!! :)
Too bad I’ll never have that time ever again!! :( But I’ll always miss it and the memory will always be with me!! :)

Now your turn!! :)

Those monsoon seasons,
And what not???

I am missing so many things and gonna miss so manythings. I traveled a lot in Nepal so I am missing all those places that I visited and all those nice people that I met. I am missing Mustang, Ghandruk, Okhaldhunga, Taplejung, Illam, Pokhara, Butwal, Kathmandu Valley (where I was born), Birjung, Dharan, Palpa, Nagarkoat, Biratnagar, Dang, Beni, Benisahar and so on. My friend used to play soccer from A div club in Nepal and so we used to show up for his finals in Budda Subba Cup (Dharan), Sahara Cup (Pokhara) and home town in Kathmandu Rangasala. We used to visit Danchinkali and Manakamna all the time. Every year before Dashain we play soccer in Jawalakhel and after that we go to picnic. Those gang fights, Keti jikaune, politics in Campus, jobs, my school, high school, friends and family. I am missing everything.

on a more serious note,

i miss asan bazaar crowd. everyone used to be in so much rush as if they have some important appointments to attend.

i miss hot chicks of ktm, especially those seen around bishal bazaar and new road. i miss whistling at them and dating quite a few at that restaurant (forgot the name) at the top of peanut store.

i miss wearing mask while riding mobikes. and that bikash gurung issue which ruled out wearing masks and goggles while riding.

i miss mahankal sthan where i used to make a short pray while riding.

i miss maharajgunj ko "bhanchha ghar" (apparently they moved out when i was last in nepal)--one of the best place for dating.

i also miss playing cards (marriage and flush) during dashain. once i made 4000 rs. but lost 6000 the very next day :(

more to come later...

on a very serious note,

i miss teaching c/c++, norton's and thevenin's theorems to lovely broads and some really sincere boys at one of the private colleges. i miss interacting with them during my office hours. i miss some of their greeting cards too and the message "you are undoubtedly the best teacher of my life". :). that was indeed very touching...
