yestai_cha, why try to make this a guy vs girl thing? Are you saying only girls are guilty here? Nepali guys don't run after white girls like they are some trophy? They don't try to sleep with as many girls as they can and go to Nepal in the end and marry an "innocent" Nepali girl? Are you forgetting that our culture heavily favors boys? If that 38 year old girl was a guy, she would have been able to marry a girl 10 years younger than her and no one would bat an eye. .

If you think 38 year Nepali guys marries 10 years younger in Nepal because of the gender discrimination than you need to look around you and will find there is a huge proportion of 38 years old African American/white marrying 10 years younger here in US also. Most of the guys I know went back to Nepal to get married because of the prevalent attitude like yours among Nepalese girls or simply due to the fact that they prefer to marry within Nepali community and Nepali girls have low population here. wow, what's wrong with you? I only gave the suggestion of dating outside our culture because of statistics. Her chances of finding someone at the age of 38 significantly goes up if you look beyond Nepali population. It has nothing to do with Nepali guys being good or bad. There are good people and assholes in all cultures. Why are you personally attacking people like you know them? And no, I am not looking for myself. I am an old time lurker here and when I saw this thread I thought of my cousin. Her parents keep bugging me to find someone for her. Not that I have to defend myself to you. My cousin or any other girl is perfectly capable of accepting or rejecting offers from guys. Just because someone shows interest doesn't mean it's a good match.
