any updates/movement on I-130/I-485 status on USCIS applications filed this Aug/Sep after F2A was current?

 deported bro..thank you yaar..ma nee interview date nai wait gari raako ho...within 30 days ma aaucha bhandai thyo..so waiting....

Quick update. RFE was issued late August. Didn't get it for 2 weeks. Then we moved and changed address by calling USCIS. They said we had to wait for the change to be approved and that would be at least 1 month. And they cannot resend RFE before that. Online status went back to Initial Review from RFE. We were waiting and waiting. Then, all of a sudden, our status changed to Interview and Testing. (We were expecting it to change to RFE.). And today it changed to say that a notice has been mailed with interview date. The interview date is for late October.

@deported It stayed at "Interview and Testing" for 7-10 days. I can't remember exactly. Well, it still is in that phase but the date has been allocated.
@menmyself : Don;t worry. You will get it soon. I think they are trying to get it done quickly! And I don't think scheduling depends on location. The interview itself might be far out if a location is too busy, but still you should be scheduled on time. How long has it been anyway since your Inteview and Testing update?

 dilligaf- Thank you for the info. Mine changed on Sept 11, 2013. I hope i will get  the interview date soon. The good news is that EAD has been approved. So its a positive sign. I am located in NYC. So, it might take some time to get interview date. Hopefully, i will get it soon.

I like to know whats happening to those who applied after August 01, 2013 and their family member is not in US but in Nepal. Yehi bhayeka lai chahi yo abasar ekdam ramro jasto lagyo tara nepal ma huneko lagi chahi khasai kaam laagla jasto chaina, PD ahile bhaye pani accept bhayera NVC jaandaa samma cutoff date 1-2 yrs back jala jasto cha, kina bhane yearly 114200 allotment gareko cha, tara august pachi apply garne nai 200000 (random reference no. chek garda) jati cha, ajhai badhi ni huna sakcha.

Khai ta ho menmyself bro, mero ta interview and testing bhanekai 2 hapta bhaisakyo, did you received anything? Ead card aayo? Mero ta ke atto patto chaina.

 ah yaar deported bro!!! ma nee wait gardai interview date ko laagi...mero nee 2 weeks bhanda badi bhaie sakyo...n yeah EAD card yo week samma aaie pugcha hola..they already mailed the EAD card...

Any update from those who applied for family member in Nepal?

I am a G.C holder , i applied i-130 this august , 10 days later they mailed a form I-797C saying that they received my Petition on Aug 19th and its on process. My G.C holder Friend who applied i-130 in April , which was four month earlier than mine has still not received any form . I want to go to Nepal this December for two months , is it OK ?? Some say it will at least take 6 months to get a review or any letter from them. Any idea.??? and also i have to change my address a couple of months be-four i go right ???
