Who's your next president 2016?

pollcode.com free polls

We've known Hillary for long time, her charity works towards numerous other humanitarian issues etc.
1. She gave and delivered a kickass commencement speech at Wellesley College in 1969.
2. She was one of 27 women who graduated from Yale Law School in 1973, out of a class of 235.
3. She was the only woman on the Nixon impeachment investigation team.
4. She cofounded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families advocacy group.
5. She broke the mold for first ladies with her speech at the 1995 United Nations Women's Conference in China.
6. She won a Grammy for the audio edition of her book, It Takes a Village.
7. She worked with Ted Kennedy to expand the Children's Health Insurance Program.
8. She won the most votes of any female presidential candidate in history.
9. She set the stage for Obamacare by pushing health care reform in the '90s and during the 2008 campaign.
10. She became the most-traveled U.S. secretary of state ever.
11. She set into motion the first American talks with Iran since the 1979 revolution.

Now who is Bernie Sanders, I don't know, I really don't know and to me he popped up suddenly out of nowhere. If you are partaking in a match, there has to be someone to compete with. I believe any contenders to Hillary are just those out there just for the sake of it(match aka debate). And for someone like me when I saw him suddenly on TV saying that he's getting donation for his campaign not from billionaires but public. People paid standing ovation with round of applause, so? so what's the point? Does that make him saint? But to lot of people that made sense and now he's everyone's' talk of the night. Yes, there are things that make lot of sense to people. The same people who would believe they're getting free Ipad on some fake facebook page of real publication, the same people who follow Trump the maniac, the same fans who would like/share tweets of their drughigh fav singer who claims earth is flat, the same people who resend/retext/reshare religious messages out of fear(do this or curse would happen type), the same people who argues Ron Paul's gold theory must come back in action, the same people who believe and sell all their belongings in the name of judgment day only to turn into homeless next day, seriously I sometimes think how gullible we are to think whatever we hear and see are the truths. Bernie Sanders is another hype to me. Few videos on youtube found me the guy was a big time critique of democratic party itself, and didn't spare Obama policy from criticizing. I am afraid of sweet talkers and often time they're the back stabbers.

In all honesty, I really can't trust this Bernie dude and it seems like how honestly he's saying his things, Hillary is the way to go. Campaigns can't be run without money, however way you get it, you need money. He'll be in billionaire's pocket too if he's to get presidency. Those who think he's not going to be, are just type of people I mentioned in a paragraph above this.

If you are OBAMA supporters, VOTE for Hillary, if you are not VOTE for bernie.

Good Luck.

I'm seeing Hillary Clinton as the next president of the United States of America.

BT bro your example of priest making money out of saptaha just reminded me notorious interview of our own Khumbahadur Khadka "भगवानलाई त भेटी चढाउन हुन्छ भने मैले पैसा लिन किन नहुने ?" what a logic!

It amazed me how many times Bittertruth/Sixfour has been proved wrong yet he keeps coming back with more false narratives. Some people never learn!

Once proven wrong he stops commenting about it and then goes on a completely different tangent where once again he gets proven wrong.

Congratulations on being a true Hillary fan.

BT you are not getting it.

See this thing below? This is from the opensecrets page that you linked. Scroll down to the bottom of that "opensecrets" page and you will see this. Yes Bernie received that money from individuals.

As I said before: Individuals are like you and me working anywhere. If I work for the Gas industry but feel like contributing to Bernie, that only proves that EVEN people - who are working for industries that support PACs that contribute to Hillary - are actually supporting Bernie on their own because they believe in him.

Neo dai, I'm not a student of politics but I do know for the fact what am saying unlike you being so emotional and blindly ignoring/defending the facts about bernie. Not that it's a big crime but one who has been saying that he wouldn't take donation from billionaires, it does raise eye brows when sites like opensecret has to reveal things about him.

"Per individual donation limit to federal candidate is $2700.

Federal contribution limits.
Federal law restricts how much individuals and organizations may contribute to political campaigns, political parties, and other FEC-regulated organizations. Corporations and unions are barred from donating money directly to candidates or national party committees."
-wiki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campaign_finance_in_the_United_States#Federal_contribution_limits_

So yes, that "individuals" is a PAC. As I've written in earlier post above, it's a committee of corp individuals.

Could you do little research before you write? It just proves you are very emotional and impulsive(saying things without thinking).
:)

micro, am aware of the fact that she's face to face with FBI, what's the big deal?
Just few question and answer and that's all, all these media gloom they can keep it.
Hillary isn't afraid and she took it, rather than dodging it.
I am amazed though that how all this drama quickly caught up as soon as someone gets the spotlight for presidential walk whereas those hideous war criminals like bush and cheney walk free without any consequences who lied under false pretense all time and snowballed everyone during their tenure.
And now ppl are saying it's Hillarys' fault?
Did we already flush our brain down the drain?
Hillary has been saying she doesn't have that amount of money like bernie is lying. Bernie stat is based off of her entire political career. But the way he sounds is that she got all that just now.

In some other thread, neo dai posted a link of some actress(never heard of her before) endorsing bernie, and then bernie goes on addressing saying among 15,000 crowd(Full video on Youtube) and this guy who was there tweets there wasn't more than 1500 — this has all become so utterly confusing who to believe and who not to believe.

Bitta,"Money she took for speeches was even before when she stood for president. So that is a crime? Other candidates do that too." lol !! HAVE YOU SEEN BERNIE DO IT ? That is the bottom line question here.
From when waaay back Bill was a govnaa, big corps and financial industry was their bread and butter(The 2008 finacial crash was the caused by Bill's deregulation- biggest strokes of free-wheeling capitalism was the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which repealed the Glass-Steagall Act, a cornerstone of Depression-era regulation. He also signed the Commodity Futures Modernization Act, which exempted credit-default swaps from regulation. In 1995 Clinton loosened housing rules by rewriting the Community Reinvestment Act, which put added pressure on banks to lend in low-income neighborhoods.

But when she became a NY Senator.. Outside governments poured in Hundreds of Millions to Clinton foundation all the way to when she was the secretary of state(the frequency of their visits to state department increased after their donations). So try putting 2 and 2 togather.. Buddy !! lol If you cannot then may god help you to open your blind eyes one day ...

Again I am not a Clinton Hater but if you look at this pattern.. I still don't trust her.

BT you are getting more and more confused about the difference between an individual and a PAC. Here is how opensecret.org, the site you quote from, defines a PAC and please understand that an individual is not a PAC :)

One fact is just coz of his age, if you think he's an honest guy, you are an idiot.
I've seen people talk ideals and do shit behind their ideals. Bernie sounds like one of em.
I don't have to prove anything when he lied on sheriff joe's case, he made mountain out of a mole. It was clear as broad day light.

He walked away in the middle of an interview, you think that's presidential, nope, he's old-age childish and impulsive.

He talks about legalizing marijuana, I can't take that shit hippies blowing and smoking all over. Hillary talks about medicinal marijuana.

He lied that he doesn't take money from big donors, but he does get big donation. And then his twisted followers go on saying that it's not corporation but individuals.

His pervertism during his young age can be seen clearly by written stories about women fantasizing about rape while having sex with their lovers, but rather than confessing to it, he has another lie to cover up. We all know how we men are perverted and how our adrenaline is in our youth, we tend to objectify women, we only notice boobs and bums while on the street. This is some serious bitter truth you can't ignore but bernie doesn't want to admit it. We could have spared him even if he would said it but nope.

There are so many things to say bernie is not without fallacy.

There are books written about verified Hillary's lies and corruption so if those 5 unverified and frivolous questions are the only things you can come up with, then Bernie's doing really well!

Here's something you can read to understand Bernie better :)

Early days

Won a championship on the basketball team at his primary school in Brooklyn.

Was Captain of his cross-country team, winning a lot of races. In fact, he was so successful he was repeatedly talked aboutin the school’s yearbook the very next year despite having already graduated.

Early activism

Forced the class president at his James Madison High School to raise scholarship money for kids in Korea, after they had been orphaned due to the war there in the 1950’s.

Organized a sit-in against segregation when he was still a student in college. This was the first civil rights sit-in in Chicago history. This led to the University of Chicago investigating the discrimination just a week afterward.

Mayor of Burlington

Defeated the 5-term mayor of Burlington, winning by just ten votes in his bid against Democratic mayor Gorden Paquette. Hey, a win is a win. The odds were stacked against him. (Guma, The People’s Republic, pg. 42.)

He won re-election three times , defeating Democratic and Republican contenders.

Caused voter turnout to double during his tenure.

Burlington became the first city in the country to fund community-trust housing under Sanders’ leadership.

He not only balanced the city budget , but undertook ambitious downtown revitalization projects. He even helped bring in a minor-league baseball team to the town, the Vermont Reds.

He sued the town’s local cable franchise and won reduced rates for customers.

Kept a developer from turning important waterfront property into condominiums, hotels, and offices to be used only by the wealthy and affluent. Instead, it was made into housing, parks, and public space. Even today, the area still has many parks and miles of public beach and bike baths, including a science center.

Provided new firms with seed funding, and helped businesses create trade associations. He funded training programs to give women access to nontraditional jobs and even gave special attention to women wanting to become entrepreneurs.

Voted as one of America’s best mayors by U.S. News & World Report in 1987.

Teaching days

Taught political science at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and Hamilton College.

U.S. House of Representatives

His 1990 victory was described by The Washington Post as being the “First Socialist Elected” to the United States House of Representatives in more than 40 years.

Served in the House from 1991 until the time he became a Senator in 2007. Over a span of 16 years, he continuously won re-election by large margins , with the only exception being 1994.

In his very first year in the House, he co-founded the Congressional Progressive Caucus. He led this group for its first eight years. Its primary devotion is to advance liberal causes and is currently the largest organization within the Democratic congressional caucus.

He sided with the minority in voting against the use of force against Iraq in 1991 and 2002. He also opposed the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

Voted against the Patriot Act despite the majority of Congress voting for it (357 to 66). He also sponsored several amendments trying to limit its effects, even getting a proposal passed through the House preventing the government from obtaining a record of the books people buy.

Was an open critic of Federal Reserve Chair Alan Greenspan and took him head on insisting he only represented “large and wealthy corporations.” Greenspan later admitted to Congress that his economic ideology regarding risky mortgage loans was flawed.

He passed more amendments than any other member during his time in the House. It earned him the nickname “The Amendment King.” He did this despite being a “socialist” and Congress being controlled by Republicans from 1994 to 2006, in one of the most partisan right-wing Houses ever.

Passed an amendment to “require offenders who are convicted of fraud and other white collar crime to give appropriate notice to victims and other persons in cases where there are multiple victims eligible to receive restitution.”

Passed an amendment that improved Postsecondary Education. It administered a competitive grant program to institutions of higher education seeking to reduce costs through the purchase of goods and services. This saved colleges and taxpayers both money.

He amended the Treasury and General Government Appropriations Act of 2003, stopping the IRS from being able to use funds that “violate current pension age discrimination laws.”

He expanded free health care and won a $100 million increase in funding by using his amendment powers. This added community health centers that gave out a variety of free health care services.

Prevented child labor by passing an amendment to a general appropriations bill. This stated that the U.S. will not appropriate funds for the importation of goods made by the hands of minors.

Won a $22 million increase for low-income home energy assistance and a related weatherization assistance program. This helped heat homes for the poor.

Passed an amendment that formed a bipartisan coalition effectively prohibiting the Export-Import Bank from handing out loans for nuclear projects in China.

U.S. Senate

Defeated a wealthy businessman, Rich Tarrant, to win his U.S. Senate seat in 2006, in one of the most expensive campaignsin Vermont’s history.

Received the distinction of being named the third-most popular senator in the country, according to Public Policy Polling in August 2011.

Given a score of 100 percent by the NAACP and NHLA (National Hispanic Leadership Agenda) based on his record during his time in the Senate.

Named one of the top 5 American Jews of the Forward 50 in 2015.

Chairman of the United States Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs in 2013-2014.

Became ranking minority member of the Senate Budget Committee in January 2015.

Became ranking minority member of the Subcommittee on Primary Health and Aging.

Passed an amendment making sure that solar water heaters provide at least 30 percent of hot water for new federal buildings. This is forcing us to use green energy.

Made sure to it that bailout funds weren’t used to replace laid-off U.S. workers with exploited and poorly-paid foreign workers.

Helped ensure that child care was being offered to parents in the Armed Forces by requiring the Comptroller General to provide accurate reporting on what was being done.

Required a public database be made available showing the names of senior Department officials seeking employment with defense contractors. This helped crack down on corruption.

Required that the TRICARE program provide treatment to veterans affected by certain types of autism. It wasn’t previously being done.

Won a battle requiring the Government Accountability Office to conduct an audit of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (the part that doesn’t interfere with monetary policy). This revealed the names of the recipients of over 2,000,000,000,000 in taxpayer assistance.

Was praised by John McCain(R-AZ) and Sen. Jack Reed(D-RI) for overhauling the Veterans Administration. Was said to have done such an excellent job of bringing all parties to a deal, that it wouldn’t have gotten done without Sanders’ work.

But, most of all, what Bernie has done is inspire Americans. That’s what he’s doing in this election. His list of accomplishments doesn’t include all the times he’s stood on the Senate floor giving a passionate speech on why the “big banks need to be broken up.” No, you can’t quite quantify things like that.

Here is one of the most inspiring videos of Bernie Sanders you will ever see:

Neo dai, now you know PAC is a committee of corp individuals and members. Why are you showing me this which I already know of?
Now don't say that members in PAC are non-human 'buildings', 'statue' or some sort. lol.
You know individual can't give more than $2700 to a federal candidate. Do lil research and you can show it to me. And I'll write again 'Now you know ... "

Bernie must have some loopholes or some other names for him to be able to get these donations.

Bittertruth you said "Bernie must have some loopholes or some other names for him to be able to get these donations."
So everything you are so emotional about and defending is based on your assumption that there must be a loop hole!
LOL I cannot argue with your assumptions like i have said in the past :)

I'm not here to demonize bernie. He's far better than other, but he needs to stop that utterly boring 'big donation to hillary' crap all the time. The fact is he can't defeat trump. Only Hillary can, you can call it delusion or whatever but he's not getting momentum as he should. I mean he really needs to win big and that's not really happening.

Can he win big in New York? I don't think so, early poll already showed he lost.
These words may be proven wrong, but that's beyond my control. I'm writing these based on current fact and figures. What can you expect from a guy who is using social medias to spread hype blatantly lying 1500 crowd to 15000?

Can he win California? That's gonna be upset victory for him even if he wins.

Can he win Pennsylvania? Early poll says he can't win that either. Miraculously even he wins, that would be upset victory. That's not gonna take him anywhere.

He needs to win really really reaaaally big and he needs to change his stance of Hillary taking lot of money from donors while he himself sliding things in big chunk. Any better word than hypocrisy here?

I cannot argue with your assumptions like i have said in the past :

But you keep lying, see there? Because just like bernie, you keep 'arguing' to defend him.
Even though you have been saying that you can't argue with emotional stupid like me, you ain't giving it up. :)

I read few posts above that I stayed away from showing up on the thread, it was days before bernie swooped all those three states. Early poll showed he was winning. There wasn't any saga to sing cheering on behalf of hillary, so I didn't show up not that I was cooped up restraining myself from writing anything because my points were invalid. You got me wrong again.
