Well, I was just wondering that in the April uprising 2006 hardly any Tibetans came to support the movement.

Therefore here are some stupid Questions,
1. Now, since Nepal is a secular state, why are the Tibetans coming with their movement now?? Y didn't they join hands with us in the April movement to support us?

2. Do they deserve to do their movement?

3. Do they realize how much pain and suffering we Nepalese had to take to free our country from dominant rule and why didn't they join us?? they were merely living in their high business earned homes enjoying themselves to the fullest and laughing at our country each time someone got booted by the cops.

4. If Gyanendra still had the powers, would the Tibetan do their movement?

5. We still have many movements going on in our country. Does this Tibetan movement bring about more chakka jam and waste of government money? and waste of time ?? and waste of Nepali people who wants to keep their shops open??

WATS YOUR OPINION???

Samsara, thanks for pointing out that HHDL is now fighting for a genuine autonomy for Tibet and has long given up the struggle for a Free Tibet.
However the demonstrations we see today all over the world are carried out by Tibetans who are fighting for a Free Tibet and their views are not associated with the Tibetan government in exile.

Tibetans have every right to protest and put forward their views. Almost all Tibetans in Nepal were exiled or they fled Tibet fearing the Chinese authority. It is undeniable that Nepal gratiously accepted them even though the Khampas revolted against us. Ultimately, Nepal gave them refugee status . So, technically they don't have any right to protest in  Nepalese soil which could endanger Nepal's relation with her immediate neighbor. The Tibetan issue is controversial and have conflicting view points. So, it's in Nepal's interest to support China and not condone the Tibetan movements against China (from Nepal's perspective not even the peaceful movement) . Having said so, I believe Tibetans' voice should be heard by China and should  address all the dissidents.

Although the Free Tibet campaign is not a folly but it's not pragmatic. My opinion is that Tibetans should be given more autonomy. Lately even Dalai Lama has accepted some sort of adjustment that acknowledges Tibet to be part of China but wants greater autonomy and prosperity of Tibetan people.

First of all for those freshmen s....read the above threads before you write.
cincinnati boy, I guess there is a huge difference between chetris and mogols and plus a huge huge diff on our thoughts and living habit. Second of all  if you have the right documents you can enter China..no harm is done to you. I know a lot of people who go there once in a while..they dont come back hurt. And remember I said about Tibetans protesting in Nepal and not about Tibetans living in Nepal. GOT THAT POINT??

few days ago

this is how they protest in US :  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fr7Mwtaywr8&feature=related

this is how they protest in Nepal:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S85OBduHuJY

(in this at 1:50 you can see them in India...they do not cross the line of control. If they cross, the cops are ready. In Nepal they did, Since they are in foreign soil they should respect the laws and abide by it)

this is how they protest in Chinese embassy in US: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkmyYKVUlBQfeature=related

My main point is.....ARE THEY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE CURRENT SITUATION IN NEPAL?? I think so

Chikaat

Is it fair for Nepalis to riot in Darjeeling ?

Is it fair for Nepalis to Riot in Bhutan ?

To join the movement two yrs ago against Gyaney..he he do they have Nepali citizenship ? Nope. And if they did join could they be deported ? Yes. Remember they are Refugees(they don't even have their own country). So why should they be fighting YOUR Cause ? TYO GADHA JUSTO KURA NAGAR TA !!!

From what I heard they were protesting peacefully untill OUR DHIIDEYS LATHI CHARGED THEM.

CChikat, i see that u have deleted your comment where u said you are a martyr for fighting for nepal...why ???

u said u walked 30km a day protesting gyaney, throwing stones.. u said u got hit by the cops... u said u fought and broke things, burnt tires for Nepal and paid with your blood and sweat....   U think u have a right to protest what u feel but no one else has right for protesting in nepal...  i find it hard to believe people even think like that..

so u dont like gyaney & participated in the april 2006 movement and now that tibetans are protesting, u think that is bad ?  haha u fool... just think... everyone in nepal protests.. taxi drivers protest by blocking roads with taxis, madeshi group, maoists protests by making nepal bandh, maoists victim protest, politicians protest by hunger strike, lawyers protest, every group protests in nepal.. that is just a matter of life...  so why are u surprised when another group (tibetans) protests... also tibetans are protesting the chinese , not nepal...

U claim u were so brave to fight for nepal and now that someone else protests u have a problem... u are one psychopath man... u really need a kick in the a$$.. hopefully one day when u are protesting again, that will happen.

Topic illogical hoina tara prastuti illogical bhayo.

in my opinion, they have every right to protest inside Nepal given that they do not put Nepal into problem. Nepal le uniharu lai saran diyeko ho. Nepal will be happy if they can return to Tibet. But, diplomatically, it can do nothing, as it is seen. So, Nepal stays silent in this case.

So, go Tibetans, protest. but keep in mind that you could get this freedom because of Nepal. So do no harm to Nepal. You have our moral support.

Those who are residing outside of Tibet, they will protest where ever they are. We have problems, do they have concern? I do not think so. Why we bringing race here with no pertinent reason.

Role of Nepal government, will suppress them to make happy to China.

OK ALL YOU NEWCOMERS  OUT THERE..LISTEN TO WHAT I HAD SAID AND WHAT I;M GOING TO SAY AGAIN "READ ALL THE F**KING ABOVE BEFORE YOU WRITE."

for all those bathroomcoffe, copycat please see the video that i have posted up.
here are something to brush our mind again
1. Tibet does have the right to protest.
2. have you seen the protest lately??? if not look at the videos posted up and look properly.
3. See the difference in their protest in different countries. nepal is the only country where they crossed the line of control (restricted areas where you cannot protest). In the same video of Nepal you will see from 1:30  in India. The Indian cops are ready too, and the Tibetans do not cross the line of control there.
4.Overall these Tibetan around the world are abiding the laws in the foreign soil they stay, but not in Nepal. People are seen forcing them selves to entering into a restricted zone.Look in US, f**k they are quite like a mouse. You will find a lot of videos and look at them properly.
5. Is it due to the current freedom that we Nepalese shed our blood that these Tibetans are taking advantage in Nepal. They haven't done this kind of protest or overruled the laws before in their protest in Nepal. Yes they did have protest before but they followed the law.BUT WHAT ABOUT THE RECENT ONE??

lataboy you really proved your self lata. When the April uprising was taking place where the heck where you?? hiding in the toilet?? Be thankful to us that we do this to make the corrupted government know what is right and whats wrong. I said i took part in April arising ..got it?? I also took part when 12 Nepalese died , hritik roshan ko strike bela and  lot more. Just what the heck were you doing???were you scared shiting in your pants??

Chikat,

The clip you just saw is just a snippet of what happened. You cannot judge the entire event upon this lil clip of the video. As I said before THINGS ONLY GOT VIOLENT ONLY AFTER OUR DHIIIDEEYS LATHI CHARGED THEM. You tell me would you still still and let them take the beating ? So what you are saying does not hold water. The only ones that got hurt are the Tibetan Demostrators here not them Dhiideys.

chikat stop being so dumb... so u can protest violently but when someone else protests violently in nepal .... u dont like it ... so u can shout, throw stuffs, break things in public but other people protesting cannot do that ? do u know what peaceful protest means ?  how old are u 15 ?? u talk like a little kid with no logic.

u seem rather proud of being in strikes.
in those strikes, i was not afraid. i was busy in school and work... unlike u i did not take the opportunity to throw my country into chaos and cause trouble... its mainly because of trouble makers like u that almost everyone wants to leave nepal and go abroad..  i dare u to protest the maoists.... but no u wont because u are S-C-A-R-E-D.... u know that the cops will beat u but maoists will kill u... if u are such a brave guy i dare u to go outside kathmandu and protest maoists,, protest the madeshi groups.... but no u wont... and no one will because all u are scared.

First of all I'm a bit communist, so I guess I don;t protest against Maoist, and what they are doing for the country is more helpful than the lives they have taken.  And stop making excuses like a small boy with snort all over your face. I was just in class 6 when I started my revolution. and do you know which one was it??? It was this same Tibetan uprising. Now look today..shit things are getting worse. And to prove my bravery may be I can meet you one day and show it to you personally. I not talking about hitting you, but i'll take yo on tours.

and btw bathroomcoffe, you can clearly see in the video who was responsible for the beating. That's the chabahil chowk..and you know that protesters entering inside the capital's main areas are always battered with sticks. Cops didn;t do anything to them between chabahil and baudhha.

And you know what people say..always be a hero in your own area.( aru ko thau ma dad giri na dekha )...and that's why we Nepalese protest violently in our own country.

Ha ha ha Gadha Parey yo Chikot. So you do admit that the Dhiidey's were the first to charge. And what do you think was going to happen after that ? he he Soch na gadha soch !! WHat normally happens when Dhiideys lathi charge ? RIOT !! There is your answer. So who is the culprit here ? Not the peaceful Tibetan demonstrators but the Dhidey's and their Mudhey bal.

If the cops had let them demonstrate peacefully none of this would have happened.

Aru thauma dadagir nadekha rey ? ha ha ha nahasa na ayy gadha !! ha ha ha Tero tauko bharii gu bharrya cha justo cha ni ho ? ha ha ha Peaceful Demonstration is not Dadagiri. BUT WHEN YOUR YCL COMRADES GO AROUND ASKING FOR BHATTA AND BEAT UP OUR POOR NEPALI PEOPLE FOR NOT PAYING THEM IS DADAGIRI. GADHA TA PARYO KE GARNEY. BUDDHI BHAYE PO SOCHNU SAKTYO.

AND SHIT ARE GETTING WORSE BECAUSE OF THE COMMUNIST ASSHOLE NOT THOSE PEACEFUL TIBETAN DEMONSTRATORS. GIT YOUR SHIT STRAIGHT MORON !!! HA HA HA

My two cents

Protesting by Nepalese and Tibetans around the world are quite different things

Nepalese protest to reestablish the Democracy and against autocratic regime whereas Tibetans are protesting for the independent and separate state.

Let me ask you a question. Do you guys support if Madhesi people launch agitation for the separate independent Madhes? Of course not. Should other countries alowed to use their territory to launch such a demonstration?

Our foreign policy is guided by PANCHASHEEL. One of the point is that "No country shall allowed to use their lands againsts the sovereignity and integrity of another nation.

So far in my knowledge Tibetans were doing inside the camp before and this is the second time that they are making the protest outside the camp.

and the rest for you
