A hardcore Nepali gal, of course who has done her schooling in India ,and who has lots of Indian connections.... Is it ok to get married with an Indian guy?Yeah, of course she has the same problem.. she shares love-hate relationship with Indians....and always wanted her future mate to speak Nepali in a proper way..and this guy does not speak a word of Nepali.
The only plus point is tat he is a thorough gentleman,well-educated and the family background is similar.....and above all this gentleman blindly loves the girl......and it is an arrange marriage...
So do you think the gal should say YES to this proposal?Don't you think she will feel sick with the Indian Environment though they are not going to live in India....
And the gal is in the mid of her studies....but they just want to get married or engaged..do u think it will effect her studies?

Is this individual a thakuri or something? I have never heard of Nepalis arranging their marriages with people of Indian background. It, however, does make perfect sense if the person in question is a thakuri. They do it all the time.

No problem in marrying an Indian if the guy is that good. One cannot marry an Indian only if that Indian is a muslim fanatic n follower of Al Qaeda / Laskar - e toiba etc etc.

I saw lot of guys go after indian girl,, but NP girls can't stay with indian guys forever,,, it is because Nepali guys are honest, simple hardworking, and respect their wives

In tarai part of Nepal , Indians and Nepali marry all the time. remember guys, kathmandu only is not Nepal. There are different kinds of indians. I like south Indians. They are softer and humbler than people from the north part of the country. If the girl finds the guy attractive and she thinks that she can fit with his family then what is the dillema... I think she does not love the guy. Otherwise, she wouldn't be here asking help from strangers in a message forum.

My suggestion to the girl: don't marry him. You obviously do not love him because you are not confident about him. If you were in love with him for real then you wouldn't be asking help from people to decide. If you're marrying him for any selfish reason then you will regret it later. better think with cool mind and say no to the guy - kindly. :)

it's part of the dhotis to marry the nepalis ladies. soon all the nepalis ladies would be marrying dhotis and becoming dhotis citizen. then they won't be any nepali ladies for nepali guys to marry. therefore nepali would be rare species and WWF would put Nepali as endangered mammals.

Indians……..they give me the hibiti jibiti, and my temper rises very high.

Mostly because they have no respect for neither Nepali nor Nepal.

Should not have any problem. one of my best buddies here in US is an indian. he is a darling at heart. it depends on the person himself/herself and not the race, religion, cast, creed or color.

for some reason, i have found that nepalese girls are more inclined towards indian boys (bollywood effect?) and indian girls love nepalese boys. there is this indian girlie who's been hiitting on me for the past few months eve after i said i am single and happy. i don't know what she saw in me (kollywood effect? hahahahaha) :P.

having said that, indian society is one of the conservative ones as far as i know. most will be hard time convincing their parents for sure. but if you love someone, all is well. :P
