Okay, My monitor got messed up. It was working fine last nite then i turned it off, everything was alright.. I tried turning it on this morning but the monitor didnt work, It said " Monitor is in power save mode..activate using pc" right.. then i hit lotta keys to see if it works..then i also checked the power code and all wires and stuffs which my freind told me to do.. but it still wouldnt work.. now it says " monitor is working, check the signal cable.... red, white, blue, green" in a small box....but it still don't work??I guess the mintor is not detecting any signal from the computer... Do anyone of you guys know, what the problem iss? heeeeelppp pleasee!!!

I am sure there is no relation between your fuse and monitor's fuse. Monitor goes off when fuse gets burnt. But you did not go off even though your fuse went off.

Hence, thre is no relation between your fuse and monitor's fuse. Take it easy.

Hi BabyPhat, hopefully its ya monitor and not ya computer. Since you said you got four squares with green.. blue.. red .. etc. The monitor seems to work just fine. May be its ya computer..? So, borrow someones monitor and then check it see if that works fine. If it does then its your monitor.. if the new borrowed monitor gives you the same problem.. then its your computer thats not working. Hopefully you'll troubleshoot it with ease.

this is electricial signal problem so check your electrical cable code otherwise check your CPU in another monitor, coz its show soethime reason of display driver.

umm one of my freind said that i hafto open the C.P.U aka central processing unit [hehe] and tighten the so called R.A.M aka Random access memory which i've never tried before...
but i dont think its that kinda prob... its just that the monitor wont detect the comp in my viewww..!! but i want you guys' suggests..!!

Don't worry about any fuse. To me all the fuses seem to be working perfect. If the monitors fuse had any problem, then you wouldn't be receiving that message. Also, if your fuse had any problem, you wouldn't be so sweet either.
Once again, I am a computer guy, so, don't listen to any guys suggesting you about fuses.
To me, both CPU and RAM is working perfect. Don't mess around with it. Just focus on cable, and the port. Don't worry about any other ports either, just check for the ports that connects monitor and CPU. By the way, sometimes, there are two similar ports in the CPU that connect to the monitor. Look at it again. If there are two similar ports, try changing the port in CPU. Good Luck.
Also, one more thing, in the previous threads, I saw you go to highschool. Is that right? cuz, to me you don't seem that young!

verifying all the symptoms it seems like the wire connecting the CPU i.e. the computer and the monitor is at fault.
how I came to the conclusion:
1. her computer functions fine with another monitor [ i hope she is using the same CPU to post and read all the posts]
2. monitor displays "no signal" i.e. so that means input seems to get lost ... [ similar to all my sarcasm]

[ in the end i was correct fuse ta udekai rahechha.. this time fuse happen to be the cable connecting monitor and cpu] hA HA funny again... "imagine the heat produced that caused the DB15/male/female connector wire to melt " ha ha ha

Okay, The thing is, I turn my CPU and monitor on right, The CPU makes the usual noise when it starts up.[[ windows xp ]]...but the monitor says
