Abortion and contraceptive education.......right or wrong? My view is every woman should have to right to choose with what she wants to do with her body! What do u think???

Dear "Compulsive liar" I think whether "mariuana is right or wrong " is rather insignificant than abortion issue. I would applaud "God" if he would stop men from raping women, taking away cancer, AIDS, diabetes etc serious diseases from a pregnant woman (can result a deform or infected baby). Sometimes a baby is expected to live few months because of abnormalities even when a mom is healthy. If God would support the woman financially when a poor woman has a baby. God doesn't help when they need the most. Leaving GOD topic out would be wise in this century unless u are a religious fanatic. Why can't a woman choose to have a certain number of babies instead of 10 in order to enjoy her life to the fullest??

If u think a little fetus is a human being then how about a grown up human being(woman) who die every minute from an illegal procedure? Does anybody care about them? Why can't we focus on woman than a fetus? There are millions of women in this situation (doesn't necessarily from one night stand). If a woman can control her fertility then she can control her future.....is that what men are afraid of? They know if women have reproductive freedom, they have more power. Sexual education, reproductive healthcare, access to contraceptives are the things that help young women when their hormones is high and self esteem is low. Why don't we include sex education in high-school so that in the moment of desire they would know how to protect themselves! If u want to prevent abortions.....u should increase access to family planning. It happens more in poor neighbourhoods...because of lack of education and knowledge. Should all these poor girls who are barely 15 or extremely poor to feed themselves be forced to give birth? When a girl is pregnant when she is that young (especially in Nepal they are forced to get married when they are 12-15 yrs old) she can die along with the baby! What would u do in that situation??

Foetus is not a baby.I think more importance should be given to a woman and her health and choices rather than a foetus because it is a woman who is bringing it to life.If people (read MEN )are so concerned about a foetus rather than a woman then why not try to give birth on their own.

I have to say it depends.IF the abortion is done to savethe mother then it is okay but if it is done for convenience sake ,I say it is wrong and these people should be punished for taking a innoncent and helpless child's life.

this is a great debate, we live in a world, where not everyone is a philosopher, not every guy is an intellectual, so why do we look at the things like this on a philosophical manner, in a sense of morality? its just like reading out a constitution, you dont know wheater to take it literally or not ...

my view on this is neutral, and dont know what sud be correct, but i kinda agree it depends on the circumtances, a woman sudnt be killing her child just because she's getting fat with pregancy, but a woman who has been raped and is pregnant is worthy of her desicision, a teenage girl is also worthy of her desicion, and i also agree with TISA, and when talking abt health issue, i think legally u have to save a mom not a child..

But the way some ppl put their views and points to support abortion seems so monterous without any compassion.., I am so surprised to see some of us consider an unborn child (fetus) not a baby. What about birds? They are better than you guys atleast they think eggs are their unborn one and take care of them until they hatch.

Lets not talk about health issue and some unavoidable circumstances, like being raped or underage and so on which are under consideration, other then that Abortion is murder.

I know one woman, she abortated for 3 times in row for no reason, just becoz they forgot to use condom while matting.. WHat you have to say on this ? Agreed guys, there are several different types of cases among women who want to abort. True, sometimes women take advantage of these situation and they abort without reason. What they should know is if done with an illegal doctor she can actually die.....No matter what we say there are some women who will do it. But making abortion totally ban won't solve any problem. What the government need to do is to provide sex education and contraceptions available to the men and women.....which we lack! Bombing clinics and cursing women doesn't help.... Not every women who considers abortions doesn't mean they aren't compassionate...and that they wanna sell their fetus in taiwan!! u have to think as if u were in their shoes sometimes!

By the way, sometimes even if u use condoms women can get pregnant.....but just because of these cases we shouldn't let this abortion be unavailable to people who really need it ..several cases I mentioned above. In many of these cases, I have seen people point towards women and say that she should be punished....why not anybody point at men who made her pregnant? How about some men who totally ignore women if they find out about the pregnancy? Sometimes they are forced to do so....it's not easy obviously. Believe me, when I was in Nepal I was totally against abortion because I love kids......but in reality when I met some women who were going through abortion....my view changed. How much scrutiny and pain they have to go through in these situations....knowing abortion can risk their own lives......We also need to think about women who are dying every minute...shouldn't we??

Getting rid of the foetus due to certain ill circumstances is a right thing to do. But if they are doing for no reason then from my point of view it is wrong. But still, all human got their rights to do what they think is right for themselves, why would they bother about my point of view. No matter what, we can't stop them at all. Human is supose to be intelligent and wise creature.....so how come we are comparing human with animal.....human are creative and has invented or innovated great things in their living history...they can also think what is right or wrong for themselves....whereas for the animal they only follows the life cycle that the nature have created for them. if we, human also start thinking like the birds than we would not have achieved what we have in today's world. I guess we still would be a bushman.....running around. Since medical field has bring a great revolution in human life, than why not take advantage of it if it benefits to you and your family. There maybe many reason why people wanna get rid of their babies....maybe coz the baby has a down symdrome.....or couples cannot offer to bring up the child.....or it was due to one night stand.....or she was raped.....or coz they were unmarried couple.....or they were not ready yet....or their career is more important right now than having a baby.....!!! Whatever the reason maybe and if they are not ready to give full comitment and dedication to their child then i would definite say that it would not be a right thing to bring a little life into this misery world to be sufffer and be isolated by the parents. Coz the child might developed a pschological problems due to the parent's abandon.The most irritating of all is when the couples get rid of their baby b'cos it a daughter and they wanted is a son.......that's really sucks......!!!

Another thing is that.....when we put a topic in the sahja.....everyone can write anything that comes into their mind whether it's a truth or it's a craps......but like what sweetiepie says....."One have to put themselves into another person's shoes to really understand how he/she is feeling or going through the suffering". Like in my case too, i have a handicapped brother who is the youngest in the family. He can't talk, walk and see anything.....all day what he does is lying on the bed or sitting on the wheel chair inside the four walls for the days to go on . When my mum was pregnant with my bro.....she did sense that something was not right coz the youngest baby in the family was shaking too much in her tummy compare to the rest.....but my dad put off issue by saying that it was her imagination.....all baby kick and shake.....maybe some shake a bit more. As the time pasted, my mum thought that she was a fool not to go for the check ups.....maybe she would have found out about the baby's disabilities and could have abort the baby rather than bring him in this world to suffer......coz my mum can't be with him 24hrs a day as she got a house work to do and sometime due to that he will he staying soaked in his own urine or shit until one of us found out about it. Another thing is that if he's in pain or sick then there is no way that he can tell us how he's feeling rather than crying all day. Then my parent had to figure out what wrong with him. Not only he is disable.....due to him my mum is also disable......she can't enjoy a life of her own......she can't go for parties, friend's house for chit chat or go for a whole day shoping......coz he needs her by his side all the time.....to chage his diapers, clean him and feed him. Lots of money was spend on him to find cure but it was invain, untill my parents lose hopes on doctors and witch doctors. Now they are only hoping for a miracle to happen and i doubt it will happen too. I says that it would be the right choice to abort my baby brother when he was still unborn after looking at how my brother and mum have been living with their lives.I might sound a bit harse and cunning but that's the truth.....you'll only know how it like when it happen in the own family. It's easy to say that abortion is inhuman thing to do......and ya i also agree.....but have u guys ever tot for the baby and the family.....what kind of problems they might be facing......here we have to measue both pros and cons.....if the disadvantages of having the baby is higher than it will be correct thing to do abortion rather than all party involved get suffered.

Well it depends on how far along the pregnancy is the mother. I have heard there are some women who decide to have an abortion after 26th month.. thass crazy.. because if the fetus is out at 26th month it has a chance of surviving out side the body.
I would say don't look at abortion as your first choice... if anything give birth to the baby then give "it" out for adoption... but if you dont want emotional distress.. pregnancy is gonna interfere with your daily activities or that you are carrying a rapers baby then I say go ahead!

for medical reasons and things as such, for someone been sexually assaulted and got pregnant unfortunately it'fine.

But they have never been in their situation and never will....so therefore have no right to judge and rule over their bodies. In order for a woman to be pregnant...u have two human beings involved "men and women".....how come I don't hear any criticism against men...when they have equal part on getting women pregnant? Why women are the scapegoats? How about some nepali men who force their wives to abort when they realize that she's not carrying a son??? who is responsible here man or a wife??

Bottomline is, u can't just single out women here.....it also reflects the defecits of the society (lack of sex education) and men themselves 'cause they have the equal part in this process. How many PRO-LIFE people(like you) will adopt those babies given life but abandoned at the orphanage, waiting, waiting for a prolife advocate (like some of you!) to come along and take care of their needs?

How many PRO-LIFE people(like you) will take in children from Foster Care to help them heal from mental, emotional, sexual, psychological, physical... abuse.

How many PRO-LIFE people (like you) will financially support and mentor those children who don't have the basic needs of food, shelter, home, love, safety....?

Let's take care of those LIVING before we politicize the issues of the unborn and the rights of the woman's body!!!!!
