I haven't seen many threads about Food in Sajha. I know a lot of Nepalis I know love chicken and rice and have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. What else besides chicken and rice do you guys love (ethnic food). Mine are:

Vietnamese - especially (Goi Couin)
Thai - Green Curry Chicken, Fish Cake, Tom Yum soup
Japanese - Shasimi, sea weed salad
Chinese- Dim Sum Brunch
Korean- Seafood soup and bbq
and more

Lets hear yours.

Ke ho mitra Hindu bhayera Gai ko masu khane. I love steaks as well man Blue( uncooked just warmed like frech do just below rare). I love blood in my steak gives u real flavour of meat.
The reason i think we hindu dont eat cow and keep her as sacred because of her utility. When we are born and start to grow up, we get fed on cow's milk mother. They gives us lots of elements and components which our body requires. It makes us strong and grow strong like our mothers milk. My view is " how can u eat cow who help you to be what you are? I think thats the reason why hindus take cow as gau mata.

Thank god for google! Its apparently called 'taro leaves'.

And I think you're right about it being available only in chinese stores.
