You know, its the same, the resellers have no control over the cards... poor them...

i use http://www.callnepal.us and i had not been able to connect ..... so as my other frends... but i tried after midnight, when all american nepalese were asleep and i had no problems with the card....

so yeah, get clever, use those cards at the right time...

... by the way... it was www.callnepal.us ... :)

Well, I used himtel to call on UTL phone. The quality was not so good. I used 5$ card. It last long but not so good. May be I will try himtel next time too to call at NTC phone. If its the same quality I will certainly look for others. The card was cheap and so the poor quality. I hope they would be better for NTC land line. Anyway, it was good for us that they employe nepali people and feel good when they talked in nepali. I am just curious if they have their support at US or its within Nepal.

The yahoo "phone out" provides a really good service. They are very little expensive than himetel but of best quality. You can give a try. Its a call through the yahoo messenger. The quality is the best. they offer $10 and $25 scheme. And its very feasible if you want to use it for several sessions.

Good luck dude!

KnightCrawler, Arko :

Both STI Free and Bean Town cards are available at Himtel.

http://www.himtel.com/DisplayCards.asp

We had changed the name on our site, but the actual names have been put now.

I hope you will buy from Himtel. Unlike most other online sites where minimum purchase is $20 or $10, ours is only $4.

We are offering 10% Tihar discount on most cards. $2 cards are available too.

---------------------------------------------------------

Joshi t:

I am pretty sure the card you bought was not a Himtel Rechargeable card, but the low rate one.

Unfortunately,
ALL low rate cards have connection problem to Nepal during festivals.
Please try cards with one-minute rounding during such peak usage
times. Most low rate cards have multiple minute rounding and all sorts
of fees attached.

Please email me at hsbohra at yahoo.com with customer ID and I will email you with a replacement Himtel Rechargeable PIN.

Thanks.

Coolnepali,
Are you a hypocrite bro?
I saw you supporting nepalisite.com on the other thread. And now you are saying the sites are having marketing campaign here?

Moreover, if some people complain out here in Sajha, the card providers/sellers have every right to defend themselves and give solutions. This is a generosity on their part..appreciate it.

bibas100..
seems you are acting like one.
I didn't mean in a bad way.
And whatever I said its valid I think..
I m not pointing towards himtel only..
If you are a regular visitor then you would know what i m talking about.
sites such as pictures.com.np, enagarkot.com, callnepal.us to name a few...
Nothing against them and with the recent activities, you can easily tell that this site has been a platform for marketing.

Now about customer service..
I sensed that for each negative query Hemendra jee is answering which is excellent..So i just thought may be in Sajha there should be a seperate section for such stuff which would be better.

Thats all...Think carefully--I mean in a good way..

dude,
if some people want to advertise, and if it is okay with Sajha admin, why do you care?

Let them do their business. In the meantime, we also get to see new creations from Nepalese. If you don't like it, just simply don't go there. Unless of course, if someone starts to flood sajha and disturb the environment for discussion...One or two threads should not be that bad...

Himtel,
What about me Hemendra? I had very bad quality sound when I dialed the UTL. I would like to try it once on NTC mobile and will try it on off hours. I am reluctant to pay once again $5 for that quality of service. Just with a hope that it would work better with NTC mobile I would like to try it once.

So will my call be compensated with the replacement of the one I last used?

thanks.
