Nepal?s envoy to US Shrestha warns NDYC president

KOL Report

KATHMANDU, July 14 - Royal Nepalese envoy to US, Kedar Bhakta Shrestha reportedly warned Ananda Bista, president of Nepalese Democratic Youth Council (NDYC) in the USA, for condemning the royal move of Feb.1.
?Finally, he warned me to stop all such activities,? said Bista in an e-mail to The Kathmandu Post, reported Post Thursday.

Bista was warned after he presented a paper in Dallas recently condemning the King?s ?autocratic? rule in Nepal.

Bista in his paper had said, ?Nowhere in the world does a king play the role of a prime minister in a constitutional monarchy as King Gyanendra has done in chairing the council of ministers.? (hb)

This is not the first time Ananda Dai got warned so it's not a new story. He has received numerous death threats to him and his family from Nepal. Ananda Dai, we have your full support for your cause.

Zara,

Need another boot? I will send you sugar coated. Cloistered in the walls of Narayanhiti, Our king is fancying the century old ideas.

>> If there is no single worthy person for a PM post

Nither the king. That?s why he refrained assuming the post of PM.

>> Our political situation is very unique therefore it requires a unique solution.

Kahi nabhayo jatra hadi gau ma hunthyo, Aba Narayanhiti ma sarya chha.

>> Americans in time of crisis, everyone supports their president even those who didn't vote for him.

He is elected by majority so people rally after him. Afterall they are rallying the troops. US Army is for American People. Royal Nepal Army is only for Royals but not Nepal. Tell him to have a chest of Naroddam Sinhanuk and come to the election, let Paras be the King if he thinks he has the mandate to rule the country.
