There was a beautiful girl living next to my house about 150 Meter away. I always wanted to go close to her and introduce myself, but couldn't gather that much courage. She used to go college passing my house. I always waited to see her face hiding behind the wall of my house. It was like my daily routine. She was unaware of my activities.
Whenever I see her my day was made, I would be happiest guy in the world. Her innocent face with big eyes and white complexion had made me crazy. I don't know what was that: love, attraction, sexual attraction, crush whatever was that. It used to bring tremendous happiness within me.
My days was going like this suddenly one day I had an eye contact with her while she was passing by my home. I felt like she gave light smile, no wonder my limit of happiness. This gave me little more courage to go in front of her and confess whatever feeling I had towards her..................to be continued

Then I asked for phone number, keeping the thump in my ear and little finger close to my mouth. She understood my signal immediately. Damn immediately she started to give me her number using her both hand.
Man I started little bit shivering, don't know why. May be that was my first encounter with a girl whom I was
attracted too or may be because of my fantasy that I had waved. To be honest I don't lie I had thought that I would be getting cosy with her in no time. So after she gave me her number, she went downstairs.
Now me happy, cheerful, nervous, excited started to make a small plan of when to call her.i thought of calling her at 9:30 p.m. because there would be no one in living room (baithak)
by then. We had only one phone during that we didn't have cell phone like we have nowadays. I would have called her immediately if I had cell phone at that time.
Wait have been over. It was 9:30 and nobody was in the room. I know it was good time for me but I was also little bit aware if it was good time for her to receive call.
I didn't think much and dialed the number 423266(not the real number, don't try calling it). Phone was received and heard the very pleasant voice " hello ko bolnu bhayeko " ....

Very romantic indeed. You were lucky spiritual bro, wish i was half as lucky. I remember when i did that phone sign thingy on the rooftop, she threw a big stone at me which hit me right on my temple and left me with a tutulka for life. I still have a phobia for rooftops since.

I wouldn't give my real number to a guy who thumps his ears in front of me (of course, I take things way too literally). Jk, Im excited to see how this ends.

I'm totally stoked, thinking about how this story is going to unfold. Did you think about sending it to THT or TKP? If you haven't, you should probably consider it!

On reflection, i think it was my fault. To make the phone sign, i used the thumb and the middle finger, instead of the little finger. Maybe she misunderstood me and threw the stone at me. My friend who was there swears that she said "kukkur" before throwing the stone. Anyways. that is besides the point.

I do! I've raised both my hands, alternatively (typing w/ my right hand) - not to surrender or anything (typed this w/ my left hand as I have my right hand raised).

Why's it taking you so long to finish this? Too much emotional weight?

I was confident enough that it's her. So I replied it's me from next house. She laughed lightly. Now both of us knew that whom we were talking to.
Me: Timro naam k ho?
Her: mero naam Ayushma ho, Ani Timro?
Me: mero Anil
Her: Timro ta mero A bata nai start hudo rahechha
Me: ya what a coincident

You guys don't know how excited I was to talk to the girl whom I was peeking for so long and who drop dead gorgeous . On the top of that I was getting positive response. In the conservation we shared the general information with lot of pause and lots of Ani Ani Ani ...
What I found out from conversation is; she is studying science, she is about to turn 18, the house she is living is actually her mama's house. Her parents left to USA . No wonder why I was always wondering why I didn't see her before. I think it's been only 4 months I saw her for the first time. She has moved to mama ghar because nobody was there at her house. Also her mama didn't have any kids.
So these were the things I come to know about her in the first conversation. I also shared briefly about myself to her.
We talked about 15 min. And hanged up the phone promising to call tomorrow at the same time. Dude I was so happy. I kept thinking about her. It was little hard to feel asleep that night because I was so excited. I feel hard to sleep either I am too happy or too sad.
Next morning I went to the college. Friends were asking " k ho keta bahut Khusi dekhinchhas, k ho raaj hamilai ni bhanna" I said nothing yaar, testo kehi chhaina.
That whole day I was thinking about what and how to talk to her. I wanted to impress her. I wanted to be close to her as soon as possible. But didn't want to make feel as if I am aggressive to get close to her. So I had to be careful.
Wait was over again it's 9:30 again.
Dailed the number
Her: hello
Me: hello Ayushma, k chha?
Her: thik chha, Timro?
Me: mero ni thik chha, only thing is I am missing you.
I gave a shot. She replied "ye hora "
Man I felt as if she is also into what I was expecting to be into. The way she was talking me was giving enough hint that she is also attracted towards me for whatever reason. So I didn't feel hesitation to ask to meet up somewhere. So I asked her " hami bhetu na ekdin" she replied "hunchha"
She told me how about 3:30 after college in Alina's bakery cafe at baneshwore. You guys know my answer obviously.
Next day with clean ironed shirt and pant, cleaned shaved, little bit scent sprayed. Entered the bakery cafe at exactly 3:30, hoping she was already there....... to be continued

I think Spiritual bro is a true lover. Only a true lover would make staring at a girl an activity. He also loved the girl before knowing about her history. I had the urge to stare at this beautiful girl once who walked past my house on a regular basis. But her timing was wrong. Coincidentally, the time she walked past was exactly the time family guy would come on tv. I chose family guy over her. I was not a true lover. The only thing i liked about the girl were her two lovely, beautiful and captivating eyes.

Alina bakery ...hmmmmmmm............. nostalgia........

And that Ani Ani Ani part is hilarious. Nepali girls just love saying that.

annehathaway...did u actually do the research and wrote a paper on the story that sounds so fake and so alien.
these things do not even happen in movies these days.women r smart and noone in this entire world represent ayusma..but there might be some stupid guys like Anil who wud think that girl is in love with him for a one time glance (that too by mistake). It happens a lot for guys when they r teenagers but not when they r adults if the thing inside their skull is brain,if it is full of shit than nooone can comment only doctors can.

This story reminds me how I fell in love with Shenaz (MTV) the first time I saw her. Such a shame that she's completely oblivious of my existence. अहिले त चार पांच ओटा बच्चाकी आमा भै सकी होलि, मोरी!

The plight of Nepali guys -- If the girl smiles, she's in love. If she doesn't, she's a slut.

@annehathaway,
some girls, or maybe many, just want a simple life with simple understanding. As do some guys. or maybe many. Whereas, i do believe the meaning of true love has changed over time, there still are people who live by the old principles of love. So love at first sight is not really a stupid phenomenon neither is the idea of unconditional love at such a level. Love has always been as mysterious as the origin of life itself and it is not bound by the laws of Science nor the laws of logic.

@Spiritual bro,

Ayushma Bhava.

Lucky guy! She was there waiting for me in one of the corner table. My heart started to pump little faster as this was my first face to face encounter with her. I sat on the table. She was looking so beautiful. To me she was prettier than aishwarya, kareena, deepika, priyanka, you name it. She was actually really preety.
May be seems like I am forcing you guys to believe she was  preety. Yaar she was preety :)
"Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder".
As soon as I saw her I wanted to give her a tight hug. But it wasn't appropriate since it was our first meeting. Though we talked easily in the phone, it wasn't the same situation while facing face to face. There was quite an awkward moments. We were having really hard time to go with the flow during conversation. While talking to her, I figured out she is also a shy kind of girl. She wasn't being able to open up.
We talked about education, carrier, films . After finishing her + 2 in science, she wanted to go to USA as well which was little bit shocking for me. As for me I was also studying computer major in science. I wanted to complete my bachelor in Nepal. I didn't focused too much about future at that time because I was extremely enjoying her company. It was like dream to be with my dreamgirl.
Somehow we managed to talk for an hour. It wasn't easy for sure. Those awkward moment when you have nothing to say is so uneasy.
Bill arrived. She grabbed the bill. But I didn't let her. I paid the bill. To be honest at that time the amount was quite a big for the college student like me. We left the restaurant after an hour something sharing each others email Id . Internet was quite a new thing at that time. By the way, the time period the story is progressing is during 2001.
I was so content after meeting her. Also very excited to meet online at 5:00 tomorrow....
