i know amit seems to have no flaw in singing.. but why r u giving prashant a hard time telling him he has flaws in singing.. cud have done better n blah blah..? did u even listen to his songs on sep 7th? i am mad at adnan sami because he gave the most beautiful song to amit paul and he discriminated the others. if u were asked to choose among kora kagaz tha yeh man mera, or ek ladki bhigi bhagi si , or yeh jo mohabbat hai , what would you choose if you were in their position? obviously kora kagaz tha yeh mann mera because just look at the lyrics and meaning of that song .. it has so much TADAP in it. the other two songs, though popular, do not touch the Indian Janata’s heart as much as Kora kagaz does.

I think it is better idea to find a logic to make Prashant the winner instead of bashing Amit's fans and indians. We need to be very careful when praising Prashant it might hurt the feelings of non bias indians who love Prashant's singing. If we hurt their feelings Prashant won't get votes. So, do not write hatred words for Amit. Now most of Emon's fans will vote for Amit so we need think how to gain some fans for Prashant. I think Prashant is better singer than Amit. Prashant has been singing different different types of songs whereas Amit has been singing almost the same type of songs. If Prashant gets little bit training, he will be one of the great singers.

All the Prashant's fans, as we know that Prashant is a very nice person. We need more votes to make him an Indian Idol 3. We need to more concern about how to get more more votes from the other contestant's fans to Prashant. We need to be very careful when praising Prashant it might hurt the feelings of non-bias fans.If we hurt their feelings Prashant won't get votes. The hills are alive with the sound of music as Darjeeling celebrates the success of one of their own, Prashant Tamang, the policeman turned Indian Idol participant.
Prashant came to town a couple of days ago for a performance and his admirers were in ecstasy.
Both Darjeeling and neighbouring Sikkim are gearing up to vote for Prashant on Indian Idol's D-day.
This hill station has never seen sights like this, a turnout in the thousands to hear the Indian Idol sing and wish him luck for the future.
"We all want Prashant to win. We love Prashant," said a local.
"He has the capacity and caliber and he is a good singer. He bears of the hills people and all the Gorkha people," said another local.
"He is a good singer. He will be the Indian idol. He is also the star of Darjeeling," said a local.
Not just Darjeeling, even the neighouring state of Sikkim is rooting for Prashant, led, in fact, Chief Minister Pawan Chamling himself.
The policeman turned singer's mother just cannot believe the change in Prashant's fortunes.
"On Independence Day, my son used to march here as part of the celebrations. Now people are coming here to watch him. People love him. He will go far," said Rupa Tamang, Prashant's Mother.
Already Darjeeling's heartthrob, Prashant endeared himself further by singing a Nepali song and then promising that, come the finals, he will do his very best to put Darjeeling on the map of Indian Idol.
PRASHANT FEVER in HONGKON ---------------------------------- The Prasanta fever can be felt in HK neplaese community like elsewhere in the nepalese dominated community. Prasanta indeed is the talk of the hour. After coming back from the hills after a short vacation, Prasanta indeed changed the whole perspective the way I looked life myself. This name evoked a sense of belonging. The chrisma of this name have influenced everybody. I am going to narrate a short incident in regard to this name. My stay in the hills was short and brief but really satisfying. The moments I shared with my family and friends was really beautiful. So I happened to visit my old friend after quite a long time. I visited his home quite often during my week long stay. He seemed happy and so did his wife. like everyone she too seemed like a die hard fan of Indian Idol as for Prasanta. She was pregnant and was due within days. She was taken much care by my good friend. Still Indian Idol made her stay long hours in the night to see her favourite Prasanta sing. Needless to say, my friend and she planned to keep their child's name PRASANTA!! Too cool...!! She was complaining often to my friend that Prasanta was kicking her.......so on... so on.........! I prayed god to fulfill their wish and my very best to both the Prasantas. The next day I got a phone call that she had gone into labor. My friend had called me. Within hour or two he called me again and said the baby had a safe arrival and was a daughter. Oh!! their little dream had shattered. How could they call a baby girl PRASANTA. Life is like that as they saying says. I congraluated him and his family. So I was asked to attend their baby's "Navran" as a special uncle from Hong Kong. So the big day arrived, there were many women folk around. The mother and child were seated in a corner. People had the same talk, the talk of the town..Prasanta. I met the mum and kid and there were formalities as regular but did not have any guts to ask her name. The mum looked happy. "May God bless them".. So I had to pack myself back for Hong Kong. Time was running out. I made a last call to my friend to bid him goodbye and to give my wishes for his new life. Upon conversation he remarked that I did not ask his daughter's name. So, I made up how I had forgetten such an important thing. Guess What!! They had named their daughter's name PRASANTI.
No wonder within a decade or two most of us will have our buharis with this name PRASANTI.

GUYS try logging to the site and find somebosy to manages the entire Prashant thing. Since this is a local forum for Darjeeling People therefore you may find somebody or atleast get a contact. One more thing iw ould love to add is that the Final Round will be on 23rd of September and not next week. So you have enough time to collect loads of money. Though they will be having two more live shows in between, but still do not know what will be the voting procedure. Till than have to keep our fingers crossed

Looking back .. one of the contestants should have been in top 13. i thought she was better than Ankita or Suhit .. here are some of her songs in Indian Idol 3:
