I am planning to loose 5 kilo in one month without dieting. I cannot sacrifice my daal bhaat tarkari, you know two times a day.

I am planning to go to gym two hour everyday for five days a week. By the way i just wanna know how much calory is there in "ek thaal daal bhaat ra kukhuroko maashu".

Please need some serious suggestion...

Compared to:  2 chicken sandwiches from Burger King!

The easy way to lose weight is quantity control, exercise and don eat after 6 or 7 pm thats when our body’s metabolism slows down and everything we eat gets stored up.

I hope this helps!

Lila J!!!

Serving size pani lekhdinush na.... feri ma ta non-stop chick EN khako khai hunchu ni 413 calorie vanthanera... hehehehe Cumin ko 22 Cal.. ek chamcha ki char chamcha?? serving size chai kati ho tyo maathi ullekhit khadya padarth haru ko ;)? I like the website you posted... i have that saved in my favorite.

BaHuN J!!!    its a good idea to eat frequent food rather than one heavy meal....  if you do not eat for a longer hours then body will try to conserve energy by lowering your basal metabolic rate.. and then when you feed one heavy meal... it will store as much as possible for future use coz your basal metabolic rate is low....

Try to balance your dietary habbit with exercise.

Vaat ta khane bhanyau yaar... tara kati twaak chaamal ko vaat khaane ho kunni???

you can do calorie count and then decrese the calorie intake. tapai ko linga k ho? uchai kati ho? kati kilo ko hunuhuncha? tyo sabai lekhnus and tapai ko Ideal body weight calculate garera ... kati calori intake khada.. wt ghatcha vanera...andaaj garna milcha....

keep exercising... dandhyabaad!!!

running is the best.
losing weight is simple

Don’t try to exercise five days a week, you’re gonna be worn out by the end of first week. Try doing three times a week, so that, you can make it a habit. The hardest part is not losing weight but maintaining your ideal weight. You can easily lose 5 kilo and then gain it back in no time. But if you make some changes in your lifestyle now and make them a habit, you will never have to worry about your weight again. Here are some of my suggestions:

Exercising, in general, raises your basal metabolic rate. But if you’re really serious about shedding those extra pounds, try to exercise first thing in the morning with an empty stomach so that you burn your stored fats and not what you ate.

Try to eat less outside and cook more at home. If you do eat out, make healthy choices (like subway haha!). Daal, bhat sadhai khanu parchha bhanne panni chhaina. You can have salad (with very little dressing and cheese) and a bowl of chicken noodle soup for dinner, it will fill you up like daal and bhaat lol.

Whenever you go grocery shopping, pick the products that are fat free or have reduced fat.

Cut down on sugary drinks (sodas), beer, cookies, donuts, etc. Stay away from saturated fats. Now there is noway you can completely avoid them but pick foods with less saturated fat (and calories) in them. Eat more fruits and vegetables, whole grains, yoghurt, etc. They help you digest food better. Eat a balanced diet (I’m sure you already know this).

Too much of anything will earn you some extra pounds. Know your body, know how much your body really needs. Eat and drink moderately :P If you had a little too much today because you were at a party, eat a lighter breakfast the next morning. Learn to balance!

www.eatright.org looks like a great website for nutrition information.

P.S. Keep in mind that when you first start working out, you’re actually going to gain some weight because you’re replacing those fat cells with muscles. And muscles weigh heavier than fats.  Good luck!

Poon:
It will be American serving, that means your have to multiply by 3- 4 for our regular serving size for normal eater. If it is for Mr. Acharya must be multiply by 6.

Losing weight is science:

To lose weight: Calorie out > Calorie in
To gain weight: Calorie out < Calorie in
To maintain weight: Calorie in = Calorie out

Losing 5kg also depends on HOW much you WEIGH right now? (consider Height too if you want to be specific)

For an example its easier for 90KG person to lose 5kg in a month and hard for 60kg person to lose 5 kg in a month!!

My recommendation is RUNNING or CARDIO!! UNLESS YOU SWEAT, you are lot losing any FLAB of yours!! You don't have to SPRINT all the time...Jogging for longer time will do TOO!! [oh keep your DIET constant, meaning don't INCREASE (your appetite improves significantly when you exercise)!!

For Maximum Result: Wear WINDCHEATERS  while you run (no shorts and no open t-shirt, even during summer)!! More you SWEAT more you LOSE your FLAB!!

My Expertise: [I lost 6.8 kg in 28 days :-), from 57.8 to attain 51kg(may be like 10 years back ) !! (Sport I Play required it :-)

Holla back if you need more info!!

I lost 4 kilo in one month, by running 5 k (four days a week) and weight lifting (bench press) on the same day that i ran  and eating roti at night around 8 o 'clock. Eat normal food during morning and day though.
