the guys here who are being smart and just trying to show us how decent they are , give em a F, coz they also drink and drive.

here is the deal, if it is a first offense: nothing will happen, you will be taken to police station,,will receive a citation, and you will have to go court. now you are talking about 2000 dollar spending if you dont take lawer. its not going to harm your immigration status, not at all. it has ZERO negative effect on green card. It is going to effect only when you apply for citizenship, that i dont think you do after having GC....at least i dont want to be citizen of this country.

So,,chill out man,,you are looking at 2000 dollar,,,at most 25hrs community service and 25 hrs DUI related classes.. thats it....the law is very strong,,but you will not sentenced to the upmost limit.

BUT,,,2nd offense is going to kill you half,,,third offense, you will be dead....so, dont worry on your 1st offense..nothing will happen beside some spending and 50 hrs non paid physical exercise.

 

more over,,you can browse online,,you will find DUI related rules for each of the state. first offense without any accident is not a CRIME OF MORAL TURPITUDE so you will be fine.

and finally to some guys who try to scare a person sho has DUI being smart,,,,i would like to FUCCK your ASS badly. think about the guy who is going through all the pain....tell him the truth, give him some sympathy...not a scarry dream without knowing anything.

drink and drive is fine... just dont get caught or hurt yourself or others while driving... then u will be in big troublle..

if u are super safe type of guy dont drink and drive At all.

if u like risk, then drink and drive only when u know u arent too drunk and u know u can drive well. once on the road u drive normally dont go left right and start acting crazy otherwise cop pull u over.

if u like taking super risks... drink , party hard and drive like u dont give a damn...

the chances of getting caught is low but it might be cheaper and wiser to get a cab or catch a ride.. cuz DUI fines are super big, insurance goes up, u get criminal record. and when u fill job application u might also have to say you went to jail.
