I just discovered a fact today and I dont know how many of you know this but when I was watching CNN today, there was a girl named KIRAN CHETRY and I looked her profile, I was really surprised finding out the fact that she was born in Kathmandu. For more information about her go to;

Mr. gorDa

Since when have you been watching Fox news and CNN. It is very very old story. You just found out now. Kiran Chetry used to work in Fox Channel earlier. She recently moved to CNN.

Dude, you are very very late. Wake up bro.

Kiran allegely once replied about her Nepali ancestry by remarking
"One of my parents is a Nepali".
I wonder why she did not reply that her father is a Nepali.
HeHe!

The answer is apparent if asked by a quizzical Nepali head.

gorDa! thanks for putting this thread up.

It seems only seven persons among so many sajhaites knew Kiran Chetry has Nepali ancestry. LOL!

Now that a good plenty of Nepalis will know. It's great one Nepali among so many is able to make it to millions of living rooms on their TV sets.

She appeared fairer than what she does in the picture which kinda pissed me off. Damn Cosmetology! Personally I don't care about anybody of Nepalese heritage who shyes away from introducing him/herself as being a Nepali. She looks hawt though. I think that she's got two kids. Good to see a Nepali face in CNN.

Kiran is only 50% Nepali; There is a girl named, Sumnima Udas, who is 100% Nepali working for CNN.

For additional information, please google, and also there is an article of her on "Naari" magazine. She is hot, she is smart, and most important of all, she is 100% Nepali... How is that????

Kiran's mother is actually from Ukraine or some eastern european country. Her father is Nepali. They both migrated to USA and became US citizens. Seems Kiran's father went to former USSR for higher ed and eloped with Kiran's mother!
