Interesting statistics. Good one!
I think this is "THE" finals of the world cup. The winner is going to go all the way to the finals. Should be an interesting match.
I think more than 70% of the Neps are Argentina fans. I fall in the less than 30%.
Go Germany!!

Sinora--> I love to see Argentina beating Germany too. I still remember the 1990 world cup.

Greenfly---> You are right. Most of the Nepalese football fans support Argentina. Somewhere I had seen in a poll, it had 79% saying Argentina's gonna take the cup.

Interesting.

FIFA president BLATTER SAYS,
"Anything can happen in football. That said, past experience would suggest that the host nation enjoys a certain advantage. In fact, Klose, Frings and the rest of the Germany team seem to be literally carried along on a wave of enthusiasm. This side is typical Germany: motivated and highly competitive. In short, they're on a roll, but they will have to confirm all that on 30 June against an Argentinian team full of class. That's a game the whole world will be watching. It's a World Cup classic, possibly worthy of being the final itself. I'm not far from thinking that whichever country comes out on top in the Olympiastadion on 30 June will have a psychological advantage over their rivals."

I totally agree with his opinion.

These both teams play different games. Germany basically plays long passes, crosses and shots on the post outside of the D-box area. Argentina plays short passes and goes through the midfield and deliver inside the box.

The game between Mexico and Argentina was a same strategy game. Both teams were playing the same kinda game that's why both teams had answer to one another's attacks.

The game between Germany and Argentina will really be a interesting game. However, I think Argentina's gonna go to SEMI.

Argentina has got very slim chance of advancing despite their performance so far. If the match against mexico is any indication i think germany will crush them though. I know many nepalese would not like me because they support argentina, but i see argentina chances for qualifying very miniimal because they will probably need to get rid of germany and then against italy.
In quarter final we should see the end of south armerican challange. i predict germany , italy, england and france i think semi final.

ARGENTINA

Strength :
Team chemistry. It seems like the entire team has been playing together for years. All 23 players know each other's game inside out, a point well exemplified during a game. They don't need to look for their player when they pass. Coach Jose Pekerman hasn't chosen the best 11 players from Argentina but the best team.

Weakness :
They have shown none so far.

Opportunity :
To come out of the shadow of Brazil. Since Maradona's retirement, Brazil has out done their South American rivals. There is every possibility that the duo might meet in the final and Argentina is determined to outshine the defending champions.

Threat :
Though many of their opponents might object to this, the biggest threat to Argentina's World Cup bid is themselves. If Argentina play to their strengths, there's only a few who can hold a candle to them.

GERMANY

Strength :
In-form strikers. It's great to enter the quaterfinals with your strike pair in form and competing for the golden boot. Ballack has orchestrated the German attack effectively, cleverly finding the positions of the striking duo with precision balls. Besides, Germany have more than a pair of long-range sharp-shooters.

Weakness :
Faced mediocre competition so far. Accept for Costa Rica that tested them for 30 minutes, the German defence has never really been put to the test. Also, goalkeeper Jens Lehman has shown nerves when under pressure.

Opportunity :
Revenge. The Germans are known to have a good memory and the embarrassing loss to Brazil in the last World Cup final still remains a fresh wound. A possible date with Brazil in the final is their most cherished dream, an opportunity to pay back in good measure. And in what better way than on home soil.

Threat :
Lionel Messi. The German defence might be able to cope with the likes of Crespo and Saviola but the electric pace and dazzling skill of Messi might prove to be Germany's doom at the World Cup. It depends on how Pekerman conjures his strategy, a possibility being, unleashing the 19-year-old on a tired German back-four by bringing him on as a substitute. Also, there's Carlos Tevez, a livewire in attack.

"I dont think that there is any team that can beat Argentina, expect Germany!" That's because of home advantage. It's gonna be a tight match, possible to go to penalty...at that stage no one can be sure who is going to win...look at Switzerland...pathetic.

We haven't seen Ballack stike yet. His first goal may come against Argentina.

I cant say who will win, but I will be supporting Germany. I think the winner of this match will take it all. I think France will be an obstacle for Brasilla. Remember how France stuck the ball up Brazil's arse in 98?
