seeing the massive number of Brihaspati school...I wonder if Birendra sainik college can draw the same crowd. As a former student of Birenda sainik, I would like to call upon my fellow students....please holler.

should have been brihaspati school's students.....just realizing my own mistake before editors of sajha point it out.

i was always confused as to whether it was dipendra sainik or birendra sainik....needless to say, i didnt go there. although the discipline would have been good, the thought of spending my youhtful days with only guys never seemed appealing..

it was not disciplined at all, that was where I smoked my first joint. Military officers cussed their lungs out and students did all sort of nasty things one cannot think about doing. Also, a fresh batch of female students was introduced during our times, therefore all the stags were not "bokas" anymore.

thank god for that installment of girls... i feel sorry for that first batch of girls, tho.....

I know them, Rima Gurung(Shrestha), Manata Basnet. And, they are now in Kansas City.

I think Birendra Sainik College is full of Darbaiaz. Not for public.

Nice to see some BSAM products here. I was one of them folks who had to bear up the push-ups, the pelai, from laptan, captain, major, karnel, haldar, subdar, gurus and so on and so forth. I had good muscles though. Not anymore. Was there for 6 years, third SLC batch. I know only some of the girls you mention there. Rakshya, she's my cousin, and also remember names of some of the bainis. There was a good times there. Hope to see some more BSAM products show up here.

I know Namrata Mahara and Bhavana Rana if they were the same Namrata and Bhavana from Mahendra Bhawan.

And there was this merging of Dipendra Police School College with Birendra Saink long time back.

namrata and bhavana are friends of mine, one is a doctor and and I am unable to locate the whereabouts of the other. Hope they both are doing good.

Talking about Birendra Sainik aka Supring Campus, that was the only college I had applied for after SLC, after listining to stories about campus hell from fren's who were there and who had been there before me, I was in a delimma thank god I got visa and came to USA.

Lau hora yaar! kahile bhako yo? Maybe it was a very long time back. I was admitted in the year 1990 and I was in grade 4 back then. Left after my SLC.

Gorkhali X- there are lotsa parties going on around DC. Lately, FUR has been throbbing, and there is always Nation friday night parties. I hardly get out much these days. I sometimes go to smaller venues around DC like Andalu or Five. Boyz in greenbelt seem very busy these, I used to drop by there once in a while but they're hardly there these days.

I would have never thought that BSAM thread would be on Sajha. Let me throw some stuff here see who recognizes.

Memories of those days, 10 yrs ago, probably 11... turn me Nostalgic!! I don't remember much, and I am sure we didn't have too much of moments there in Sallaghari like you "Bhais/Bahinis", who went there beginning your primary school yrs; still there's this "Ghost-Image", a blueprint of that two-yr period, unformatted on some corner of the head.
Sure, those omnifarious days at BSAM are worth remembering. I remember "Ghamat" and "Flying" out of Bedrock's list. Few names in John Galt's list are familiar to me, even though I don't know them... just some renowned predecessors!!
An officer I never forget: Capt. Prakash Acharya, and his aberrant behavior that scared the hell out of all 700+ students.
Teacher/Professor: Samim (Sir), and his mysterious hairstyle.
HouseMaster: Pandey (Guru), and his lectures.
Everlasting Hunchings, Frontrolls, tabletennis, Paan, Carrom Board (all with prefix "Suping"), Maharaj position, nicknames...LOL and lot more...

Oh Guys, how can you forget "Bada Khana", there used to be this guy who was supposedly the supervisor of the Cafeteria and boyz used to call him just 'Virus'. That cracks me up big time. Shite....going home was such a big deal back then..
