It has been already 90 days that my TPS is pending. My current OPT EAD is expiring very soon and I am working fulltime. Can I schedule a INFOPASS appointment with USCIS officer for the EAD purpose ? how long will it take after the interview to get a EAD.

Anyone has gone through this?
any input will be highly appreciated.

-> No . you can schedule the appointment to ask why it is taking that long. You can do that over the phone as well.

One friend had to take a month off because of the TPS delay. Eventually he did get it.

I thought EAD thru TPS will get in hand fast, it's has been over 90 days no update; my ead thru asylum application got expired while waiting from the one from TPS, I'm writing to USCIS to change it to c (8) category as its causing hardship.

Btw they are still working on july - Aug application and reason behind delay is holidays in between and now weather conditions.

plz help. any one recently approved for TPS EAD ?

Finger print last week. Card being produced on case status check. Nebraska Service Center.

If your EAD is pending for more than 90 days, you can create a service request for the EAD by calling USCIS or visiting neatest USCIS office through INFOPASS appointment. If 90 days already crossed, they can issue you temporary EAD. Please check with USCIS officer.

@neerman I've done everything I could do. Created a "Beyond Regulatory Processing Time" service request. Got the reply back next day saying "Wait, contact if you do not hear something in another 60 days". Asked local congressman's office for case assistance. Got a letter after 4 days saying that they have put in an inquiry, no updates after that. Made two appointments at info pass. First one, the IO officer was such a butthole that he didn't even agree it was beyond regulatory time. He rather argued that no. of days count starts from the day of biometrics. In second infopass I went to another location yesterday. The IO officer there tried to help. He wrote an email to the officer handling my case in NSC and attached supporting documents citing financial emergency. I have yet to hear back from him.
To my surprise none of those two locations issued me an Interim EAD or created an expedited service request. 

There is no interim EAD. Only thing left to do is contact obudsman for you.

yes gone through that congressman *shit. but to no avail.
the field rep of congressman told me that I might have it by next week. but not sure.
now am grounded. not in payroll. no drivers license.

USCIS received date Oct 30.

Finally my TPS and EAD both approved today. I tried many things but I think one that worked was to file an expedite request through USCIS customer service on phone. If your application is past 90 days, you should be eligible to file. However, based on experience, you have to explicitly ASK FOR IT. They never suggest or anything. Good luck everybody

so u call this no. 1-800-375-5283 and ask to expedite the case based on the beyond regulatory time frame. is this are you suggesting.

@lahure_kto: Hey guys i am in the same situation here and our timeline matched mine received date was nov 2nd 2015. I request the expedited due to the 1st option and i got reply saying that "your case is currently under review by an officer."

Did you guys have the same kind of experience please share if someone has the same experience.Thanks!
