My first TV interview. Please do not go by the sensationalist headlines of the interview. News 24 TV used such headlines to have good TRP. I am grateful to everyone for watching, commenting, sharing, and liking my videos. http://sajha.com/sajha/html/index.cfm?threadid=115933&noofposts=5

Can you please elaborate why you are not happy with the constitution drafted by the majority of lawmakers represented by the majority of the people? What are the points that need to be revised or addressed?

I have yet to watch a good nepali interview of nepalese personalities conducted fully in nepalese language without any use of english phrases and words.
Isn't there anyone who is capable of doing so.

As for the content of the interview, I did not get to watch it entirely. Will do so later and comment on it.

Rajesh Hamal is the one who conducts his most of the interview entirely in Nepali (suddha Nepali) despite having strong command in English. फलेको हांगा नुग्छ whereas empty vessels make too much noise.

All language is communication, but not all communication involves language. Research Shows Effective communication is only 7 percent verbal and 93 percent non-verbal (the non-verbal is 55 percent body language and 38 percent tone of voice) so i focused on 93 % not 7%. The work I do  touches people's hearts not what say.

@yadavanu, I have two questions for you if you don't mind: one is what @mangale asked about the constitution and the other one is what @facebook asked above.

I agree with you about the language aspect.

I am not convinced that I should waste 30 minutes of my valuable time listening to your BS. Tell me one good thing your father did during his 8 years of presidency and you might convince me and the Nepalis alike to listen to your interview.

It's sad to see that after 8 years of constitution writing process and trillions of their hard-earned money gone to waste, fellow Nepalis now have to resort to firewood for cooking their daily meals. These freeking netas pushed the country backward 25 years!

What rights are you all talking about?

Nepal has given more rights, humility, and respect to Biharis than Biharis get in Dehli and other parts of India.

Many Madhesis already know that they are asking to remap the states per India's convenience and many pahades already know why madhesis are jumping up and down with this India assisted movement.

Nevertheless, it sounds like you are one of those few madhesis who are still convinced that you will be able to spread the lies of discrimination to non Madhesis.

Alright got to finally watch the interview and it was not bad. Anita, I do realise that you have a good nepali vocabulary. But I still do not understand why you choose to use english phrases. If only the 7% of your communication could be done in our national language that has been neglected for too long....
Anyway, my point is, if someone is aspiring to be a public figure, he/she should know very well who his/her public is. Majority of nepalese do not go to RatoBangala, nor St.Xavier, nor Little Angles', nor Galaxy. Majority of nepalese do not live in the inner circles of kathmandu. So trying to get your message across to the nepalese public while using many english phrases just comes across as elitist and bourgeois, confined within the safe haven of four 6ft walls in an expensive quarter of kathmandu, driven around by chauffeurs, and who love to shop in Durbar Marg.
This is a general trend in Nepal and very much so in nepalese media. Almost all of the interview programs conducted in nepali, on Nepalese channels have english names. I just don't get it. The 6 questions part in this program could have been (ko, kina, kaha, kahiley, kasari and kay ) instead of Who, Why, What, When, How and Where.
It is my personal opinion. I tend to have more respect and interest in those Nepalese who despite having a very good command of english language choose to speak in pure nepali. At least they are proud of their language and they speak to everyone in the country, to the drivers, to the conductors, to the sellers at the side of the streets, to the farmers, to the porters, instead of just to those who were lucky enough to have parents who had money to send them to an english-medium private school.

Not sure why are you trying so hard to sell your interview.. Give me one good reason?? Are you revealing something that nobody knows about?

Antarbarta chai ki purai nepali wa purai angreji ma bhayeko bhaye ramro hunthyo.. I guess one should realize that it sounds weird to embrace a foreign language with broken grammar and accent as medium of communication where one's native language suffices.
Cant understand why there is this misconception amongst people in nepal that it is cool to throw in some broken english in between in nepali interviews..

GwachAquarian "Cant understand why there is this misconception amongst people in nepal that it is cool to throw in some broken english in between in nepali interview".
This is called ignore everything that is yours and embrace everything that is others'. It is a symptom of a country with people who have lost confidence in it's future.

One thing I have not really understood till now is what is the major role of president of Nepal. The only epic I have seen and hear about our first president was keep reminding like Alarm clock to parties " sambidhan chado bhanda chado tayar garna aagraha" and finally constitution party at BICC. What else major role? Light me up if I am wrong. No offense though.
