euta ta america ma nepali keta ko sankhya keti ko bhanda dherai chha, so naturally ratio mildaina.
arko, keti manchhe haru jo jo aaka chhan student visa ma (bishesh gari undergrad), uniharu nepali circle ka keta haruko giddhe dristi bata bachna hos ya bideshi muluk ma sangharsha lai sajilo banauna hos ya aru kunai karan le hosh, euta bf banaune tendency maximum hunchha. So single kt nai bhetina garo chha nepali.
Single keti nai kam bhayesi, demand and supply ko rule anusar thorai nepali kt jo single chhan uniharuko bhau aakasincha.
cast, religion purba paschim, valley ko ho ki valley bahira, nepal ma dad mom ko status kasto, yi sabai BS ta nepali haruko ma chhadai chha.
arko kura us aayera 2-4 barsa yahako life dekheka kt harule keta ko status, income lai badhi nai priority dyeko dekheko chhu maile.
keta le ni aafu jasto financial/legal status ma bhayeni "chwak" keti lai lastai priority dinchhan.
Mathika sabai karan le us ma nepali keti bhettaunu sarai garo parchhan.
tyasko thyakka ulto nepal ma, us gako keta bhanera limited family bahek dherai le ali badhi nai mahatwa dinchhan.
dherai keta haru bidesh (khadi, austrailia, us, etc) gako le nepal ma keti ko sankhya ketako bhanda dherai chha. So obviously nepal ma keti dherai available hunchhan, bf ali thoraiko matra hunchha, or bhaye nai pani dherai serious chhaina bhane US bata aako keta bhanera bf lai bal dina ni sakchhan.
Sabai lai generalize garna or blame garna khojeko hoina, dekhe suneko kura.

Tesko baje has right input.
I was interviewed by bride's brother who was illegal in New York (probably came as visitor and started working). His sister came here in USA on DV lottery. He wants to marry his sister to a guy who has job, educated. At that time I was in OPT and looking for job (unemployed for a while). Even he didn't see me as an educated and could get a job once I marry his sister. What a hypocrisy, he himself is illegal and wants somebody who is already established. Moral of story: Girls family look wealth, security, naturalization (if she is student, she seeks citizen) etc. I have seen many Nepali girls dating Indian (because they have IT job but Nepalese (not all) work in gas station, restaurant, ocean city and so on). Once Nepali girls are in USA, they date outside their race to keep profile low.

Nepali girls are raised as gold diggers. that is not their fault , that's the ritual and upbringing of Nepali society for generations. it' always fun to see some dv winner Nepali and mavni joined with some smoking hot wives. and they themselves are butt ugly and few years ago they would not even get to talk to those girls. if you got something then you'll have the best Nepali girls after you.if you just went to school for 10 years and you think you are entitled to Nepali girls then you're wrong. btw, masters degree don't earn you 100k , your experience and talent does.

The OP has not clarified what exactly he meant by "nice." When nature created men and women, it designated special task on both of them. Men and Women are therefore different by birth. This difference is further strengthen by our cultures making as if men are from Mars and Women are from Venus. Biologically, all women are same. However, culture plays an important role in shaping their behavior. If we analyze the biological aspects of human behavior then it is very clear why women look for men who have more resources. No matter where the women is from, she look for two things in Men; they are: 1) Commitment 2) Resources. Nature has given a special role to women: produce babies and nurture them. To meet this end, they require a strong men who is committed to her and has good resources. When women becomes pregnant, she goes through a state where she becomes immobile and dependent. Therefore, she needs someone who can look after her. She needs someone who can bring food to her when she is pregnant and almost immobile. This is a situation of life and death. It is a serious business. So, she doesn't take any chance. Therefore, nature has made women extremely picky when it comes to mate selection. Secondly, resources plays very important role in this material world. Obviously, if she has a partner full of resources and committed to her, that will be helpful to nourish her child. A healthy baby will always produce happiness in the family. In today's capitalistic societies, it is no surprise that why women look for men with abundant resources. It is a matter of life and death; it is a serious business. Once again, this material world is nothing but sex and ego. Good luck guys!

I think major problem is the popular culture that is with the Nepalese in USA. After staying for more than 5-6 years, our understanding, beliefs and values have changed and I think that it cannot get along with the girls/guys from Nepal. If you marry a girl from Nepal and bring her here, then you will have to start explaining everything to her. But had she been in the US on her own, then she’d learn the pop culture among nepalese in USA. So, even if its easy to find a girl in Nepal, marrying them would be a mistake.
But that’s my thought and myself I don’t know if it’s true. I talk to a girl from Nepal coz our families are close and same cast and I’m in deep shit I think. I talk to her about stuff like things, “ socialism and stuff” and she is like mero soltiko bihey ma kun sari laune hola...Well at least she could put her opinion or just say some shit. but may be thats all girls’ problem.

it depends: let me give you my analogy,
are you looking for a brand new or used? Brand New ones are harder to find and i agree with that, however there are used ones with lot of mileage with no driver who are looking for an oil change. These used ones are available all around, if used one is not your preference then brand new ones, like market dictates will cost a lot, in this context are harder to find and tougher to ride.

oh did i forget to mention that used ones might also come with one or two bumper upahar, if that is ok and you can be the daddy figure then lot of good used ones around that can go for lot more mileage.

to Herealone bro,
I'm not surprised with her dilemma on what to wear on her solti's wedding ceremony. Those types of problems/dilemmas are eternal with the ladies. You might be looking for a intellectual-mate in that woman. Don't make that mistake. Women are interesting the way they are. Love them and be loved.

Because boy to girl ratio in America is very uneven. The ratio is probably 1 girl to 10 boys. And it's the other way round in Nepal. Also, in Nepal, US guys get more preference.

Let me put my opinion on this. First of all, US ma vayeka keta haru ko opinion nai kt prati naramro hunna. They want to have gf when they are in undergrad days, fall in love and when they get in better off position, they want o marry so called "pure kt" from Nepal. I have seen many of my known nepali kta doing that. Don't play blame game by trying to say that girls are chosy and want to get perfect guy. Kta haru ko tendency huncha ki they enjoy young days with girl friends, and present as sojo kta in front of they parents in nepal and marry according to their family choices. Thus it is not that girls are scare, it is that guys have to change their opinion about girls.

If you're qualified, open-minded and decent enough, there are plenty of nice girls out there. The biggest issue is the filthy expectation of wishing that a bride were a virgin; Unsurprisingly enough that's been the biggest hindrance for Nepali men. Indians, it appears, don't seem to care about a girl's past as much as Nepalis do. Maybe because they don't have to put up with an acquaintance talking crap about a girl's past (the same acquaintances don't give a crap about the guy's past). Most Nepali men in general seem to be bothered with a woman's past, regardless of himself bedding multiple women, of various backgrounds (hookers from Thamel included).

Further, most single Nepali men seem to try to live up to the expectations of their families - those of finding an asal, ramri buhari w/ caste, religion, and family background playing a crucial role. But that said, it'd be hypocritical if I denied the fact that I'm currently single only because I can't find someone who's capable of fulfilling my mother's demands.

Also, there's nothing wrong with a woman seeking an ambitious and career-oriented guy. Would it be fair if a guy were judged based on their preference for a woman's appearance? There's nothing wrong with a guy seeking a beautiful soulmate, right?

Thusly, if you're a well mannered guy with an open-mind, you shouldn't have trouble finding a decent girl. There are plenty of girls in mid, late 20s, and 30s - single, educated, and beautiful. There's no doubt in my mind that they'd rather get married to Nepali men, too. But when a bunch of Nepali men start labeling them as "used", how the f*** are they supposed to open themselves up?

And lastly, users and usages of terms like "brandnew", "used" are not only cringeworthy and demeaning, but also extremely uncivilized. If you're gonna hang onto the notion that a girl in her mid 20s should've stayed a virgin, you were better off living in Nepal. And believe it or not, unless you went to some rural village, it's rare to find a virgin girl in her mid 20s.
