Help please!!

Thanks javap for starting this thread. I really do need to fix  java setting in my computer. When i open my university page for registration which runs with the help of java software. Its lower half window is completely dark like the lower boundary extended upto half of the java window and i can't see any link within the darker region. But for some other program the java window is fine. I would be more than happy is some experts could help me to fix it.

NorthPole: did you open the registration page from other system as well? does it come dark from all the computers? If it comes dark from all computers, something wrong with the software but if comes dark in your computer only then try to switch monitor(if your pc is desktop) or check your screen resolutions or adjust monitor settings.

Once again thank you Javap. This problem is in my laptop only. I can open from another computer and it works well. I tried to look at the setting from java console and from advanced option but my gut can't figure out anything. I would be more than happy if you could assist me in fixing it.

NorthPole:
-  try with different browsers. try to open the registration page from IE, Firefox, Safari,Chrome etc.
-  if your registration page has any kind of animations/video, your pc must have softwares to run those animations.
-  try these, if it doesnt work, we will go for another solution.

I can see some links like 5 lines on the top then all the java window screen is completely dark below it like the darker border extended upward. I have to verify my address on the lower link which I can't see at all and I won't b able to go any further.

i am sure there shudnt be problem with the application. There must be some problem in your laptop.
If you try to open that application with all browsers and still has problem then you can try changing your
browser settings. If it is still not working then some problem with your graphics card. by the way, can you give the link of that page? let me c how it displays in my laptop.

to copy and paste the screen: open the window, press ALT+PrtScr key together and paste it wherever you want it.like in word, paint etc.
