Why should we celebrated chrismas? Do westerners celebrate Dashain and Tihar? Then why should we just imitate as if chrismas is our festivals?

Anyway I like to drink with my frens anytime not only in chrismas? How about you?

on christmas day, god sent his son jesus (isaah, yesu) to save the mankind from immoral and illicit thoughts that pollute our minds.

if u don't celebrate his brithday then GOD will make u rot in hell forever

ACCEPT JESUS NOW, its for ur own good

merry christmas

Hey Bcoffee, you should actively particiapte in this wonderland! You make people's day with your unstoppable humor!

I would say it is a personal choice. A time where you can sit, relax from your busy schedules and spend quality with your loved ones. Noone wants to be deaf when holiday tunes are playing around you, does anyone? Why not sing to those tunes?

STOP PRESS:

""inflict genuine damange to the Turkey""

to read:

"inflict genuine damange ON the Turkey"

Is it to do with my friggin' fingers or the mind showing signs of 'ageing' too - my b'day was in Nov, you see! :-)

Flip - Maybe you should start the Bathroom Coffee fan club! :P

he he eh

BC - I second everything flip said about you.

Back to the topic ... what does it matter? I personally don't celebrate Christmas but many of my friends and co-workers do - including non-Christians. One Nepali family whom I know does it for the kids - they feel it would be cruel to deprive their kids of all the fun things that they talk about in school about the festival.

Personally, I don't have strong feelings on the subject- I couldn't honestly care what festivals people celebrate.

But hey, I love any holiday ... so Merry Christmas!

Hey Sandhurst - my virtual drinking buddy!

Whiskey egg nog is on the menu at my local bar - so we might be sipping some this weekend :P I am not the biggest fan of nog, but I figured the whiskey would make up for any violent protest by the t-buds :)

Merry Christmans and happy holidays!

:)

This also reminds me of Nepal where many non Hindus celebrate Dasain. Like Dasain, Christmas, in spite of it's religious origins, can be a pretty non-religious affair. What's the big deal in buying a tree and sending out some presents?

To Real Me: You ask: What is morality? I can give you a very clear definition. Morality is not getting on the internet to solicity sex from some under age child. Morility is not sendimg pictures of your genitalia to that child in order to get them to meet you in your home or in some secret place. Morality is acting like a real man who protects the innocense of children rather than trying to destroy their minds and bodies for you own selfish satisfaction. Morality is believeing in a higher power, being faithful to your wife and family, and acting like a decent human being. Drink anytime you like but stay off the internet with kids until you are sober and can properly judge you actions.

what a guy, you are Capt, what a guy! :-)

Greetings from the foggy Belaayat - yeah the shots at C-Regal or JD must seem like a tempting prospect but I'd better stay away from it - the liver-call you see! :-) Pretty much unchartered waters, these bottles are for me, mind you. My friends can empty barrels of them, I can assure you! Forget bottles! Blimey... and they've already taken out insurance policy for early retirement - the ailing liver may well give up any time! :-)

Come along with your bottle of nog, next time you accompany me on my expedition to the North Pole... how about that???

:-)

Have a good one, mate.

Aiight bud, you have a great one too - wining, dining and whatever else is on your mind :)

Am heading out in a bit now - getting ready to battle the highway madness that I am sure awaits me.

:)
