I am proud of my country, my morals, my culture. But I am sick of living in a nepalese community. I think majority of nepalese are backbiters, narrowminded and takes everyone for granted. Fuc king sick of nepalese community. what say.

I think that depends on the individuals, not the community as a whole. I, for one, like hanging around with Nepali people. Most of my friends are non-Americans, however, I feel more at home with Nepalis. Call me old fashioned, but I very much enjoy sharing daal-bhat-tarkari and talking about gau-ghar ko kura.

I posted in sajha because I know my identity is annonymous, so I wont get hurt no matter what i say. Here i can express my opinion freely, doesnt bother me what you guys say because you dont know me. I am free to express what I think and you cant change it. I am sure lots of people agree with me that nepalese community sucks big time thats why we cannot progress. "eeuta haat le tali bajdaina".

I just hate dealing with nepalese, totally irresponsible, just headache..

I too wanted to live in nepalese community before i transferred because i had no nepalese in my prior college. Actually it felt wonderful for like1 semester, I blended in with everyone.

"Too much familarity breeds contempt" And there are some who are envious of others progress and some are plainly too inquisitive and don't really know what should be asked and what shouldn't!! I think the Indians have progressed because they remain united and help each other to rise and advance forward whereas it is not in our case and therefore only a few have risen. Why do we fear being near our own people?? Isn't it sad that even when we are far from home we feel better off not being near our own people!!! This explains a lot that people who come here in the beginning act completely different and get the required help and then once they are quite capable they become so ungrateful and start talking ill of the ones who helped them to settle down.

americans are uptight and straight forward. Thats why they are up there and we are down there where we will always be. Americans respect the do- gooders. You are just saying that because you cannot blend in the american society? no offense.
