Guys
these are Atkins' days and people work hard to manage their weight. But here is one person who has always wanted to gain good weight but never got that right. I eat well - fruits, veggies, meat, fish and everything. Non-alcoholic, non-smoker though. My weight has never been satisfactory ever since I realised I am a thin chap. Any real suggestions to help my cause???

Eating is the first and most important factor that is needed to gain weight. It is simple you just need to eat more calories than you burn. Eat loads of junks hehe. Well i am saying this cause i myself had a problem to gain weight. Thank God i did...i used to weigh 45kg damn i hated it. I started to enjoy junk food helped me. And now i like the way i am. ;) Sadly the more i eat the more i lose weight so i am fine when i sometimes forget to eat...everything happens opposite in this side. ;)

Godo Luck and start stuffing calories. ;)

newuser bro..come here ho ;o)..ma ta chakka paaring when i gained weight here hehe..back then i never thot i could gain weight too hehe..dunno wat they have in the food here but urghh u do gain lots of weight...so come here ;o) and bring ur mums cookin packed for me hai ;o)...u dun need it...cos it wont help u gain weight ...hehe...timi lai tanna aloo..and bread khulauchu hehe...

Matrix sounds convincing but I don't even dare to go to frozen aisles at groceries/supermarkets. I really hate junks. I heard they are for those who are lazy to cook. I know but you are not.

Dan ko kura ni thikai ho. But pauroti is awful. Hussa hunchha. Once I bought a loaf, n some roast slices n honey and marmalade. Pauroti khaera motaunu paryo bhanera. But it went basi for days unused and threw it in the bin. I haven't even opened the honey. It says it's pure Australian, not tasted yet.

Aru kunai ali sajilo idea chha bhane bhannu hola la.

Hmmm i belong to those lazy ones. ;p Seriously i forget to eat sometimes. But well you dont need to grab to forzen crap...i dont like that eiher...dont you like KFC or Taco Bell ? Hmmm i love Taco Bell....we dont have Taco bell here. ;( so everytime i go to a place where they have the first thing i do is go to Taco Bell yum yummm. But forget the States Taco Bell they are too dirty. iggttt. :p

new user broda, here r my suggestions :
1) Tanna khanus, khaane bittikai sutnus.
Affects: Since u won't be doing any activity while sleeping, no calories burn so u must gain weight.
2) Khaane tie fluctuate garnus, don't eat at schedules time.
Affects: Body tries to adjust with that and would be confused when to expect food, in that confusion, it starts storing the energy and will release less energy and stores more.
3) Drink a lot of beer
Affects: The carb in beer will definately make u fat.
4) Go to McDonalds every day.
Affects: C "super sized me" documentary movie. (testai kehi bhanchan hola)
5) Don't drink water of juice, drink pops and sodas, but no diet.
Affects: Water cleans wastes in ur body while pops and sodas adds sugar in ur body. Sugar is energy, to much energy body cannot burn and will store and will sure make u look fat (if fat is better).

I hope this works for u, if it doesn't then lemme know, i will give u some more tips to get fat kya.

I dont know how old you are newuser but I struggled to gain weight until I was 18. I was moderately skinny and always wanted to be heavy, intimidating...and all that. However, as my vertical growth stopped my horizontal growth started to take off. Yeap, I gained almost 25 lbs...by the time I was 20. Trust me, its not a GREAT feeling. I have always been super concious and tried to maintain my weight all the time...

I recommend you to gain weight healthy way than pigging out on junk food...You could do that my working out...Yes, it is very essential to work out..and that implies to everyone...

* Start working out...3 days at most..for the first 4 weeks...( your body is gonna be sore as hell, in this time you will not gain or lose weight, you will be losing fat and gaining muscle so balances out)

* Get to 5 days...no more than 45 minutes in the gym..do what you have to do and get the hell out of there..

* The real thing is what you eat..eat chicken breast, Salmon, drink flax seed oil, alwyas go for brown prodcuts( brown bread, brown rice)..lean meat,,Turkey..and if you are veggie go for chickpeas, brocolli, soya products..mix and match...and fruits are always good .

* if you still dont think you are not getting enough nutrients in your body or you dont have the time to prepare all these dishes then go to GNC or any nutritional store and get WHEY Protein( it will help u bulk up if you work out) , CARB SHAKE..if you really droll abt getting love handles and looking heavy..A friend of mine was skinny, he started taking this and was really...heavey in 6 months time..this thing really works....But I recommend protein part...

Anyway, working out and eating right will get you anywhere...skipping meal and then pigging out will give u a belly....eat 4-5 times a day in small portion..it should be good.

Well, no offense hai, just to begin with, where in the world are you my dear new-user. Are you in west, I mean not to mention in Africa included? I have seen plenty, including myself, many asian, whenever they land on the land of opportunity, they swell like a big balloon as if the dry stomachland was arid for centuries, and boastful for being so "Khaayeko and Laayeko", as if there is no tomorrow.

I am sure, you are in the very western hemisphere. Just wondering....

One just quick reminder, I have seen some of my pals, who are very carefree and happy-go-lucky-fellow, they are quite good on maintaining their weights, but the friends of mine, who constantly worries and thinks a lot, they tend to fall in two categories. One, either they are very obese or two very lean and thin.

I think, you have a high metabolic rate. Just enjoy your lean and thin ride, or else once you hit the obese mark, it is sorta difficult to melt down all those burgers, fries, tacos, hotdogs etcetera etcetera from your love handle...

Just be healthy, that all matters....

NewUser seems u and me have the same problem, we just don't gain weight. Before coming to the US and after coming here, I am the same DAMN weight. I used to exercise in Nepal, I exercise here too, I don't really care about my food, I eat beef or junk food for that matter but no change.

Dunno what the problem is but u know I have accepted my thin "haddi" self, u try doing the same.
